Because she (niksfishinmom) is always pulling things like this out of the water: Not cool at all. Oh, 5 lbs 9oz. She was having trouble posting the pic this morning and so I have to suffer the humiliation of not only knowing that mom has caught a bigger bass than me this year, but also having to let all my bassin' buddies know it, too. This is seriously going to affect her Mother's Day gift :'(.

C'mon guys, don't get angry because the Yankees have an owner that is willing to go out and spend money on the team. I really don't get why other teams get so mad about this. Sounds like Royals, Marlins, and Mariners fans should really be angry at their own owners. Besides, the Yankees wouldn't be able to spend like they do if they didn't have the fan support to pull it off. Sounds to me more like jealousy than anything else.

Yeah, I gotta agree with the rest of you guys. Part of what we do as fisherman is being an ethical sportsman. That means being good to the environment, obeying the fishing laws, and respecting the rights of property owners. Sure, there are LOTS of places I know of that I'd like to fish but can't. That's just the way it is. It makes finding a legal honey hole all the better.
