I was the same way. I could hit a golf tee at 30 feet with a spinning rod. The I got a bait caster as a gift and I'v been working with it for about an year to get good with it. You may ask. Why do all that work?? Wait till you hook up with your first bass with it. Plus you look realy cool using it 8-) (till you get a back lash the size of your head) :-[

I don't know if it matters if you use red or black. But I do know that once the red flakes and the gold starts showing you will get bit less. You wont have that problem with the black... Just my .02

I just picked up a pack of swimimng sinko's and I have know clue how to fish them.. Do you rig them waitless and swim them or on a jig head and bounce them off the bottom c rig them or texas rig them i havent a clue :-[ thanks in advance

I went to Wall Mart right after i read about the abu garcia's for $35 bucks. No luck i talked to the manager ands she said they where waiting on the spring stuff . I'm hopping they will get more of the abu garcia super 7 rods. They where $25 last year so i picked one up on a wim. now its my favorit rod.

I next to never lose one. Now if I let some one else use one of mine its like a death sentance for thar lure....... last year alone my brother lost 2 $5 spinner baits 4 roster tails and a million sinkos in 4 trips. Then I hooked him up with a cheapo spinner bait hasent lost it yet. Still tied in his pole from last year

We get a lot of junk in the delta...... I cought 4 bass off a lazy boy some one dumped in the water. Old boats and stolen cars are good too .

A pair of long nose wire snips work well. I have not seen any pliers with cutters at the end. Always as the base
