Funny you sould mention a Pacu. I have 9lb one in a 55GA. aquaer---aquar---tank I'v had him for about 15 yaers the store i got him from told me he wouldent get biger than 6"

Me, I just go insaine till spring its been to cold lately to fish even here in CA. Pluse not having a running boat limits me to bank fishing. I would go striper fishing but its slow and boring from the bank.

Fishing is becuming more and more popular. Thanks to TV and good sportmanship most fisherpeople are seen as good ol boys or girls. Its grupes like PETA that we need to watch out for there every where and will not hesitat to poision the minds of our young with lies. J/M

Two guys would have to fish it every day all day. I fish a pond thats about 3 acers and it is fished relentlessly by many others and the bass still take my sinko and spinner baits... 8-)

I don't know where else to put this so if it gets moved I wont be upset I was sleeping befor work tonight and all of a sudden i hear my oldest girl (10) go into histerics then my wife telling her to calm down. So I bold out of bed and run into the kitchen to find that my presise little girl had stuck her finger into my brand new Abu Garcia 6000 bait caster and got it bad stuck inbetween the reel side and levle wind I had no idia how to make it go backwords. (they don't) I pop off that little screw on the botton and nothing loosend up I was like I don't understand. I tell the wife we had to go to the hospitl and get it cut off. Well littl girl thought i was talking about her finger (bless her ) and went ballistic. Grabed up my 5500 and took that same scruew off and that little wijet inside fell out. whent back to the 6000 and looked and she had jamed it so tight agenst her finger that it took a pair of small needle nose to get it out. Alls good now just a bad bruise and a loooooooooooooooooooot of tears JACK

Nice pig you have there. looks like 6lbs+ to me Keeping them or release them it a matter of choice. I always release them becuse I don't like fish that much. I also beleve that relesing them makes the sport better for all. But if you like fish and don't mind cleaning them by all means do it. Just don't waist them by keeping them showing them off then letting it rot. Once agene nice fish. Now go out and tri and and get a biger one

I will run & gun till I find fish Then fish that spot till I'm board with it and move on.

Do you fish from a boat?? I would start with some Sinko's. Ask the guy at cabelas for what colors and size. I started out with a chrome rattle trap and a spinning outfit moved up to soft placics and a bait caster. Look around on this sight lots of info here. Just don't get overwelmed by all of it.. good luc k

Those will not work well for fishing. Bass pro shops has a bunch of glasses for around $30.00 that work realy well...

I always wear my camo Scooby Doo boxers...Never go fishing with out them well almost never I tri and rub my sons red heir before heading out i also check if the cows are standing up and it has to be high tide on Tuesday with no clowdes. If i see a skunk on the way fishing I must stop and jump 3 times (don't know why but i have to do it) ;D Good luck charms are harmles as long as one dose not count on them to do the work for you. Nothing beats practice preperation and patienice. As far a lotto tickets 4 dollors a week some one has to win

I don't know about out boards. But I do know that if you buy that cheery car from grandma. Yopu know the onr that she only drove on Sundays and never over 35mph and tri and hot rod the motor. You will pop the upper compresion rings on the ridge in the upper cylinder. But on a boat motor I have no clue

The boat that I got about a month ago fired up today. Its been a long strugle first the steering nuckle was frozen solid. It took 20+hours with a tourch and a grease gun to get that to move. Then the key was the wrong one and the guy I got the boat from had no clue where the right on was towed the boat all around town hunting for a switch.. Then i took the switch i had to a lock smith and had a key made.(DOH) Got it all back together today. Now mind you this boat has been sitting for a year and a half. Not to mention its 45+years old. Pumped the gas into the motor pulled the choak turned the key and NA ANA NA NA NA NA NA NA BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRROM started right up and idled just like it was new. Then took the prop to marina $80.00 to have that fixed and a week till its done. Now the long trip to complesion decided that i'm gonna paint it dark blue with gray carpet new seats and all the little stuff I would like to thank every one on this sight for your advice and support J/M

My buddy and I fish together all our lives. We would cut each other up all the time. But when the fish was on it was all team work. He started getting into bass fishing and I was relucktent at first but got hooked bad. Then he just gave it up. Stopped fishing almost intierly. Talks about its too much work. So now I fish alown or with my older brother and my kids
