which is a bunch of garbage.it would make it tip heavy which would overide any theoretical increase.sensitivity is affected more by what line you have than the amount of cork on your handle.i do understand some people think it looks nice.

if anything it throws the balance out towards the tip which is a bad thing.

i've had that problem on a lot of different brands including shimano.this is why the pros open and close by hand.no bail issues that way.

light pastics in medium weeds = spinning.heavy plastics in thick weeds = bc.

not a braid sufix performance braid or power pro.i use 20 lb on a spinning rod but have used up to 50 with only slightly less casting distance.

i have that rod and it works good in heavy weeds.

imho there are only 2 brands of guides that are good.fuji and recoil.

if you were in a boat a 1 oz. jig on a flipping stick would be an option.

i don't know but my 4000 series pflueger medalist is plenty powerfull when tightened down.i use a bps extreme 6-6 mh rod with 20 pound power pro and it pulls fish out of thick weeds really well for a spinning rod.

i hate 2500 size spinning reels.i love a 4000 series.bigger spool casts better and drags are stronger.since you aren't using it for finesse it makes a lot of sense.kvd also uses 400 series spinning reels so i guess we aren't crazy!!!

tie it to the holes in the spool and then go over it with a few wraps of electrical tape.the more tape you use the less power pro you use.

imho they are not worth the money.when is enough enough?is $100 to much.i see no end in sight.pretty soon fishing for a season will cost $80000 in lucky craft lures.me and my rapala's and bandits and other lures have outfished lucky crafts a bunch of times.

according to their catalog they make their own rods.i've heard pflueger makes the reels but i don't know.i know pflueger reels have parts that are exactly like some pinnacle reels so they are probably getting parts from other manufacturers.it's done in the auto industry all the time.ford ,g.m. and chrysler all source from the same manufacturers.gm is in cahoots with chrysler on our hybrid truck.so in the end who cares?as long as the end product is good i don't care.

powerpro is one of the best braids along with sufix.the diawa stuff is just to ridiculously priced.
