Pond Hopper

It is a complete toss up between a Revo SC on a 6'8MXF St. Croix Avid or a Revo SX on a 6'6 MF Avid. Neither has hit the water but have been casted plenty in the snow!

Nope never have although I probably will this year as a buddy lives on the lake. What kind of fishing are you looking for?

Went ice fishing today, and still 14 inches of ice :'( Although the next week is forecasted to be in the 50s and low temps above freezing. Throw a good forecasted rain shower in on Wednesday and we could be ice free in 7-10 days :

They use to cost me about $100 for a weekend of fishing. This year I have moved to where I did most of my fishing and now have about a 5 minute drive to one of a few dozen ponds, a lake 10 minutes away, and a couple other great lakes within an hour. Good move so far

Good report, nice fish, and as much as I hate to say it the perfect trip does not always produce that DD but you made the most out of it. Also great job doing everything you could to care for the gill hooked fish.

It is enjoyment, if it is not enjoyment for you or anyone maybe you should move on. Anything that is not enjoyment to me I call work, and fishing is not work.

Amen, there are a few dishes back home that I could not imagine anything better to eat. The type you could die happy after eating. Although I am very limited in my area to beef, pork, or fish.

Mine from when I was a kid are all still super glue mounted to my sisters barbies

Muddy, Hope all goes well with the weight loss and surgery, but my favorite salad is: Grilled chicken Some lettuce Bacon pieces Crutons Lots of cheese Some EVOO More bacon A few cloves of garlic And some ranch dressing mixed with franks hot sauce. ;D

Ice off my good pond, for 3 days straight, I will be there fishing slow!

Jigs, t-rigs, buzzbaits, frogs, and burning traps are what I use my 3 burner reels for. And to be honest I am switching the buzzbait to a 6.3:1 because with a burner reel I have to reel too slow for my liking.

I agree as it goes on just about everything I eat. There are a few other bottles in the fridge also but none of it gets used near as much as Frank's.

I have 3 St. Croix Premieres that have been a good rod for what I paid(half price). Also a shimano symetre which makes fishing spinning tackle less of a chore. I also own a Bionic Blade I got from senko77 that is a hell of a frog rod and is also tough. I have a problem sticking them in the ceiling fan or hitting a wall and it has still not had any problems.

I have beautiful, semi-long brown curly hair. At least that is the way my girlfriend describes it and I cannot argue with her.

I will beat RW, and say that yozuri hybrid ultra soft #6 is a great spinning reel line. Not much memory, and stronger than normal 6 lb test. I tried it on BC gear and did not like it but it stays on my only spinning reel I have!
