  1. Thank you Blaster. The one thing that gives me courage is whatever lake I go to tomorrow will be North of the bridge.
  2. If I had a wig it would have left my head at McGee’s and landed in Tennessee Bay ? It was rough this afternoon. It’s a miracle I caught one lol Almost froze to death in a short sleeve shirt in a South wind?
  3. I’m discouraged but not leaving. Grind it out lol. At least I got to fish today. Only caught two at Rayburn where last month I did very good. More people same water temp. 57-60. Uncle caught 3 in Six Mile. Same water temp. Might as well stay around here until the weekend is over. Slim report but that’s how it is sometimes.
  4. Got here too late yesterday afternoon. Too much wind anyway. Headed to Rayburn tomorrow. Hurting too bad to fish right now.
  5. Seems like I read something about that in the magazine “Pond Boss”. Check it out. Good luck.
  6. I’ll be there Wednesday until I run out of tobacco which will be awhile cause I’m buying extra ?
  7. If we can get some sunshine for the love of God!
  8. Catt, I’ll be over there when you are and several others it seems so wouldn’t mind buying a round at Fin’s if y’all are up for it.
  9. Cat Daddy is right as usual. Another place for a pirogue is the back of Sandy and Six Mile. If that don’t blow your skirt up, I’ll be back over there next week and you can fish with me.
  10. No, but I’m curious about it, myself.
  11. Half the reason I went back to Rayburn but it all worked out. Can’t wait to go back.
  12. I forgot to tell y’all this when I was there. They logged almost all the trees east of the Six Mile public landing and had cones out so you couldn’t park where everybody usually parks. I’d say half the parking lot was taken so get there early or park on the highway. I heard they were putting in bathrooms and other improvements.
  13. Yes but went back to Rayburn. I’m extremely hard headed.
  14. I only caught 5 today in that wind. I had to go shallow. One of them was in a foot of water in some lilly stems. By no means the winning pattern but they’re not all suspended in 40 feet of water ?
  15. Operationgrass covered it well. All I can add to that is that I went on google earth and adjusted the date to a low water year and traced them, converted them to trails, and added them to my unit. Also, Lakemaster shows them way better than Navionics.
  16. Fished Rayburn today in solid grass. Got my tail handed to me. New area, all looked good and they whacked em for the 16 tourney so grass is not the most important thing. I believe I’ll follow my grassless creek channels on Toledo tomorrow ?
  17. I agree with all that. Just trying to keep on the positive side cause I’m on my way there.
  18. Not too shabby for a washed up lake with no grass lol. I know it’s been better but it’s still good for them hammers! A 10-7 and a 9 pounder for Johnston and Gleason. They adapted! Pulling for both of them.
  19. Not my favorite deal but I’ve had good luck with it in the fall under docks.
  20. I think they are done. It is slowly rising and two feet higher than it was a couple of months ago.
  21. Good luck! Hope you whack em again.
  22. Cypress Bend landing should be good.
  23. It’s a sketchy landing at any level. I’m not sure about what level you can launch and the channel not be too low. All I can tell you, is I prefer to fish it with the water level at 170 or higher.
  24. It’s almost always good there. Those days should be good. Good luck.
  25. Thanks man. Can you get a hook in them? I started with a weedless approach and missed too many. I’ll try it again. Maybe the texposed will be the key and what I did wrong.
