There is plenty at the blue lake/1215 boat ramp area. Most I've seen in quite a few years. Almost as much as the humans there last Wednesday ? Next time I head that way, I want to try the back of San Miguel, myself. At least I can get away from them some. Good luck.

You didn't miss too much at Blue Hole. I caught 4. Good news was two of them were over 4lbs. Very slow. Caught 3 on a brush hog and one on a spinnerbait. Tried all kind of baits from 1 to 10 feet. Hope the back of San Miguel was better.

Finally got all my junk fixed, kinda. Headed to Caney at Rayburn cause some knuckle head said it was open. It's closed so I came in back to Six Mile. Caught 8 this afternoon in that gale force wind. Five keepers that I didn't keep. Half on a very slow rolled with stops spinnerbait and half on a trap. Tried slower baits but it didn't work for me this afternoon. If I can walk in the morning, headed to 1215 and then back to work to pay for all these dead batteries ?

Almost glad my battery was dead lol. I was at the landing, wondering why, and then the battery I charged for two days could barely trim up the motor. Thank you Baby Jesus.

Remember when I said I didn't care about the weather? ???? I always make it sleet! Still fixing, cleaning, and organizing anyway lol. I'll be ready about Sunday, hopefully, if I can chisel my boat cover off to replace the cranking battery... AGAIN!

I think it was far from a dumb question and enjoyed all the responses. Learned a lot and that's what it's all about. Finally arrived back at Six Mile. So freakin' happy, I don't care about the water level, color, or tempature. Just gunna fish like it's my last chance. Also, somebody towed my Ole Uncle from the mouth of Six Mile to the landing today and just in case you're reading this, I appreciate ya and hope to return the favor some day.

That worm looks good but I never tried it there. My trips were in February but had great success with spinnerbaits, junebug senkos, black and blue laminate senko (kinda like Catt's worm), black and blue chattterbait with a paca chunk trailer, and a few on a gold rogue and a black neon jig. Don't know that lake at all. Just generally speaking. In my opinion, too much fishing pressure is the only thing that makes a lake a hard lake to fish.

I think I have platinum plus. Not sure about the others but I don't update it anymore cause I didn't notice many updates and didn't want to pay the yearly fee. It may be different now. It's ok but not really that good for finding and following ditches or the boat lanes.
