Looks good. Way better than a real Christmas Tree ? If we’re talking baits, I think I’m reluctantly going all in on the A Rig. Any tips would be much appreciated. Right now, I have the Yum rig and just switched to Keitech shiners on the small side. Have several different heads to try. Bite me, Jenko, and Divine. Gunna quit using braid and maybe switch to Shane’s Rigs. All over the place so please help a brother out ?

Welp, I went to Six Mile to run the boat straight outa Carlson’s. They fixed it. Ran like a scalded dog. Collapsed fuel line was what it was. I fished for about 2 hours and caught 4 on a DT6 following creek channels. Tried about everything else known to man but that’s all she wrote. Now, off to duck season ?

Well, I went just to run the boat in 6 mile and it still doesn’t run right on plane. Idles like a champ so figured I’d fish a little. Caught 10 in a lil while on a 6XD following creek channels thru some flats. Full of shad is why, I guess.

You’re welcome. I like grass, myself. I saw your other post about Toledo or Cross Lake. If you like grass and shallow like me then I’d go to Caddo or Rayburn. Not sure where you are coming from in Louisiana but if you fish SW Toledo then Rayburn is right there. If you were considering Cross Lake then you may want to bring your frog and punch to Caddo. Both of those work on Rayburn, as well. The deep one, I tried and I prefer to go where I don’t have to.

For grass, I’d go to Caddo before Cross and Rayburn before Toledo. Just my humble opinion. Good luck

Lots of choices with a kayak. Back of Six Mile, Jack’s in the back of Housen, Willow Oak in the back of Sandy, Indian Mounds, back of Indian Creek where 255 crosses it, back of Negreet Creek, and the 1215 area. Just to name a few. Probably all better during the fall and spring but still good. Good luck.

I have Lowrance units so I’m stuck with Navionics. It’s ok but I wouldn’t mind looking at something new on my phone during the dog days.
