St. croix Vs. Powell
Teramar? Versatile? What power and action? I spotted some at cabelas but they were a little heavy and bulky. They are made for saltwater, i dont think theyd be very comfortable for bass

New to bass fishing
I vote for lightning or uglystick. These type of rods are part of the learning experience. I learned on a uglystick.

This Time I Wasn't at Fault, I Swear...
I also did a good deed today, i was out at the lake unloading my boat and there was a kid around 18 years old fishing, all he had was a handful of lures and his rod. He was mexican just like me so we had a nice talk and got along really well, good kid. As i was about to head out i asked if he wanted to join, he couldnt beleive it. He had never been on a boat. Got him on some fish he caught a nice 6 pounder his new pb. And now i have a new friend and fishing partner, also he took my advise in a very good way and changed lures as i told him what the fish wanted. I feel good and im glad i made his day. Next time i head out hell get an invite

Favorite spinning reel under $130?
For baitcaster i use many different brands, for spinning i only use shimano. After using symetres, saros, stradics and saharas for over 5 years any other brand i try feels cheap and not as smooth

Cabelas Sale Imminent
I prefer cabelas, their house brand rods and reels are good too.

Does this look like a good spinning reel?
I use 40 size reels for spinning, less line twist and ipt. Also can cast a lot further. But the weight makes the 40 reels not balance out great on most rod. For beggining definetely go with a 30 size. And that supreme is a great reel

Shimano Crucial Spinning Rod
I have a spinning 7ft mh. I like it more than my zodias. Its my favorite rod. Very sensitive and very good backbone

Ned rig?
Texas rig it with a pegged weight and a 1/0 hook. Works the same. But you have to use atleast 10lb line

$100 dollar casting rods

$100 dollar casting rods

$100 dollar casting rods
The only brand i wont even consider is 13 Fishing. I broke 3 and then i had a very bad experience with their customer service on a brand new rod with a defect. I might go check out the carbonlites later today

What Were They Trying to Do?
If its a river than my thought are the current was a little strong and he had to ghetto rig it that way to keep the line from going with the current

$100 dollar casting rods
im looking to buy an arsenal of fishing rods for tournament fishing. Im looking to spend around 100 each. Im gonna buy about 5 rods. But i havent really tried rods in the 100 range. The 3 rods i currently own are zodias. been looking at the new lews tournament tp1, falcon bucoos, bps carbon light, h20 ethos ducketts, shimano compres but i havent settled on one brand. Anybody have experience with these? Or any suggestions? i need a punching rod, pitching rod, texas rig rod and deep diving cranking rod and maybe a jig rod but i know i can use one for a couple different techniques. Thanks guys Also i like to keep my rods at a maximum of 7'3 Dont really care about weight

The Defective Dink Board
I actually used to work at a factory in mexico were we made a lot of shoes that are sold here in america. Let me tell you a lot of the people i worked with speaked very good english. I learned english in elementary school ib mexico. And we also had to learn the us measurment system in and out. I think this problem has more to do with a printing problem
