  1. Anybody know the difference between the 4 chirp and the 4x chirp?
  2. Ive been looking at a lowrance elite 4x chirp? That one has plotting?
  3. I recently was passed down a 1992 tracker panfish special. Everything works great, i just finished replacing all the wood and before i screw the wood in i want to install a fishfinder with gps. Whats the most recommended fish finder in my budget. Mostly need it to save spots
  4. Around 300 a month, im a sucker for swimbaits
  5. Yamamoto, strike king and zoom
  6. The swaver is my favorite swimbait, all i use pretty much. Make it turn all the way around sometimes
  7. Academy sells a h20 version, with that one i get way more hookups. And it even looks better
  8. The crucial is easily my favorite rod ever, and i have some gloomis and zodias. Theres just something about the crucial
  9. I like the ci4+ but its hard to find a rod that balances. For an nrx id go with a stradic fk or a twinp
  10. I dont know about that reel, but i use 4000 size shimano fk on my spinning set ups and i love it. But i use 30lb braid. Dont listen to the bad comments, its works just fine. I dont mind the extra weight, ive been fishing 4000 reels for years. Dont put heavy mono on it though Just spool some 30lb maxcuatro and go get em
  11. Its definetly the best reel at that price point. I havent fished one but i got to touch one, very high quality. Feels sort of like last gen stradic, not the fk but the fj
  12. Im the other way around, my casting reels are all mid tier, most i bought for around 100, i have calais, caenan, casitas etc... for spinning reels i have 3 shimano ci4+, 3 saros, 2 fk, 2 symetres, and a twinpower. Wanna get a stella to pair with a nrx. Im a big spinning reel fan, the only technique i use casting reels for ir punching and swimbaits. Everything else goes on spinning. I know i might be missing out but has been working for me. Also you can really tell a difference between spinning reel quality, i tried using a sienna last week on a trip and it was not fun
  13. Do this, use a swivel for 1 outing and the line will streighten itself up. Then you can remove it until needed again.
  14. Only bad experience ive had was from 13
  15. I have one of the newer ones, great rods. Highly recommended I dont know about customer service, never needed to use the warranty
  16. Rock bass, usually when i catch one i thought i was snagged on weeds
  17. Not trying to sound like a fanboy but for me its shimano rods, shimano reels, shimano line (power pro), shimano plastics (jackall). Shimano all the way, only reel i have thats not a shimano is a president which i dislike very much Ok im a fanboy
  18. The new shimano nasci looks decent at the 100 range
  19. My le is not as smooth as my regular president. Im waiting for the casting president xt
  20. Lol my sellus has better cork, id get it replaced
  21. I saw that too, very immature
  22. That was amazing
  23. Shimano sellus is a great rod for under 100. Also the h20 express rods are really good
