Do we all carry too much tackle for too many techniques
I was gonna post this question but searched first for it I figured there was a thread. Its fun buying tackle and rod and reel and it's also fun catching fishing on different lures and proving to yourself you can catch fish on that lure or bait.Butttt I think it hurts me more than it helps me having so much tackle and rods and reels because instead of just focusing on a few baits and really giving them a chance to work im picking up different rods and tying on different baits so this weekend I'm just bringing 3 rods for fishing the water column at top, middle and bottom.I honestly believe where I mainly fish I could bring one rod and one bait "Senko" and catch fish consistently all day I might try that instead ?

How do you locate bass in ponds?
More time on water and remembering what you caught them on presentation, speed, water depth, water temperature, weather conditions. The fish will tell you.Alot of patience but once you figure out to locate them you will be on your way than the even tougher task of consistently catching big fish it's a marathon not a race.

Why?
Don't understand why my topic was locked on Senko'd???I was sharing about getting into senko fishing and what brand was working for me what's the point of the forum if they close a topic that it seemed people were viewing and responding to it's going to definitely effect any future posting I might do......

Senko'd
It took me a long time to get into this senko frenzy but now I am ,it's my go to bait now and probably my favorite but.. I've tried a ton of the copies of GYB Senko and honestly the only brand I catch them off is the GYB I know they are expensive but they work and here in Florida this time of year we are getting 100-200 fish per trip but they work and IAM gonna keep buying the GYB.

Fishing Vacation
Took this week off of work and I been out every day on the boat for 6-8 hours depending on how long my battery last lol.I been power fishing lately and catching alot of fish and good size at that but today around noon my back started hurting but I didn't feel like calling it a day so I started worm fishing just sitting down in the chair with Texas rigged worm and I gotta tell you it was an amazing experience just to sit down and enjoy my surroundings and I started catching alot of fish than I said to myself now this is fishing, but it brought me back to when I first started and it seemed by slowing down and worm fishing I became part of the refuge. You dont see alot of pros or bass fishermen in general talking about worm fishing Texas rigged style today just made me realize how much I enjoy it and missed it.Also I made the conversion over to tungsten weights wow what a difference!!Just wanted to share. Thanks!!!

Throwing
I think one of the main things I've changed about my fishing style is being more diverse, slowing down and being more patient giving myself a chance to figure out what the bass are telling me what they want instead of just throwing what I like .Also I have totally fallen in love with Lox's rawness and wild life I'm really just enjoying being part of that instead of obsessing over getting a 100 bag.

Throwing
It's really changed once I got my own boat last year plus spending alot of time on water at least 2x a week I've always fished since I was kid but now it's more like hunting ?

Throwing
I'm noticing lately I'm starting to understand how to figure out patterns, locating fish and using the proper lure for those situations and getting bigger fish more often instead of just throwing at bank with the lure I enjoyed/ had confidence with and hope to get lucky it's pretty cool feeling just wanted to share. PS also reading alot more about bass and there environments
