Lew's TLW1SH Tournament Laser
I know Lews also does one off models for certain box stores like Walmart. I bought one and found out they don't even list them on Lews website but the reel is clearly marked with their logo. I tried to register one for the warranty on their website and had to contact them because the drop down to select your model did not list the reel I was registering. That is when Lews informed me to use another reels model and explained the reason the reel was not a part of their lineup.

Lil' Corky in a tube bait instructions
I was interested in trying this Lil' Corky trick with a tube bait as discussed in this video. But I am not clear where exactly do you put it? I generally use a 3.5" tube but it just does't seem to look right no matter where I position it. Can someone give a little more detail on this technique?

New Favorite Lure: Creature Baits
I like the baby ones as well. Not that the large ones don't work but the baby ones I get multiple uses out of. I use as trailers or T-Rigged

Who would you fish with for a day?
My dad or my grandfather. Because neither can fish anymore and we had great memories fishing when I was a kid.

Best terminal tackle storage ideas
I use the Plano 3601 as well and never had a divider problem but 1 did come out today. No big deal I was considering doing the superglue or some type of glue that works well on the plastic. But over all I like being able to lay out my dividers as I want them. I use one whole Plano 3601 for my Flippin stuff exclusively Hooks,Tungsten, Skirts, rubber bobber stops etc. I also have one smaller 2 sided clear Plano Medium Double Sided Organizer #3450 . It hold an amazing amount of assorted weights, hooks and stuff for its small size. I use it for my more common used terminal stuff like EWG hooks etc. Oh I really like it has 2 latches per side so if one doesnt get latched completely I dont have a huge mess in the floor of the boat.

Any Pelican Bass Raider Owners Out There?
Not sure I agree with "likely end up with an ugly, porous, and lumpy". You know fiberglass is a sand-able, mold-able, material that if you do the work can be extremely pleasant to the eye. Not saying I agree with covering the entire bottom of the boat but ugly, porous, and lumpy is not completely true in all cases. How well it stays and weather or not it turns into a "brittle POS mess" I would not have a clue as I have not researched the repairs for his particular boat. I own a Uncle Buck's Pond Prowler Boat that is made of ABS plastic. A quick search for abs plastic repair brought me About 1,380,000 results (0.77 seconds) according to Google. See what your material is and do some research. This stuff here seems to be a possibility. http://www.marinetex.com/marinetexepoxyputty.html

Any Pelican Bass Raider Owners Out There?
Most of the larger auto parts store carry the stuff if they have a paint and body section. O'Reilly Auto Parts, Autozone, and others all have the stuff. If you cant find it stop at a body shop and ask where they get their stuff locally.

VMC Barbarians showed up
I am trying some of these and at the same time trying some of the tips I read here and see on YouTube. So I ordered these VMC hooks the other day. They showed up today and I installed them on a few of my more used baits. My first time using VMC Barbarian hooks but they are extremely nice looking to me.

Latest Tackle Purchase Thread (Bait Monkey Victim Support Group)
Making mental note ... do not buy used fishing tackle from Murrica. Well I couldn't help but notice Walmart had expanded their clearance section to a complete isle both sides now. So I strolled down through there and again they had Pepper Custom Spinner baits. I bought every one they had last time I was there. Was only like 3 or 4 then. Well today they had eight 1/2 oz for $3.00 each so I loaded every one of them in the buggy then I saw three 3/8 oz ones but they had red tags marked $5.95 and when I scanned them they were still $5.95 so I left them. This time there was some assorted Strike King tungsten for $5.00 a pack so I picked up 2 of them. Quite a bit of Zoom plastics Owner hooks etc all over there. I had to leave I didnt need what I bought but you know how it is.

White braid?
I use white, surprisingly it stays quite visible considering what it goes through.

Soft Plastics
Well just using my go to soft bait companies Mann's for their Jelly Worm Zoom, Netbait, Strike King (Rage Tail baits) and Zman for numerous baits. Aww darn I couldn't stick to one either.

Cheap Baitcast Reel
That is a pretty good deal for a alum frame reel. To bad its only 6.3:1 ratio. Also I didn't see what the drag was rated at. http://www.academy.com/shop/pdp/h2o-xpress-mettle-mt2-baitcast-reel-right-handed

Upgrade treble hooks???
I was just going through my hard baits. Getting to my lipless crankbaits I decided some new hooks are in order. I debated and watched different videos on ideas to help and decided to go with VMC Barbarian Treble #6 (Tin Red) up front and VMC Barbarian Treble #4 (Black Nickel) on the back of most of my lipless crankbaits. Almost all my baits are 3" 5/8 oz and up. Honestly unless the hook literally looked like junk I never replaced one from the factory while the bait was new. Of course we didn't have ebay selling aluminum hooks on baits from China either. So I did a little research on all these "new" and improved hook designs. I doubt I got the best but maybe they will work for a guy fishing for fun. Thanks for all the interesting reading and tips in this thread.

Weather report: brutal Winter
You mean "climate change" hasn't made Mexico a icebox yet? ROFL I was just looking at the weather page for here and had to laugh at the idiots. Looks like climate change was happening in 1952 and 1940 here in Texas. source http://www.weather.com/

Duracoat/cerakote
I personally haven't coated any but I have guns a friend coated. He has done many guns and swears by this Duracoat. He buys from here I believe http://www.houtsenterprises.net/ He does the bake on and the bake on works on the laminate / plastic as well. Different process though, you do a lower temp longer bake time. Most of his parts he does in a small toaster over and they look awesome. Look as good as any store bought anyway. He actually has 2 of my new AR15 uppers and lowers right now coloring them.

Most versatile Spinnerbait configuration
I would do one white and one black and a single colorado nickle blade 3/8 oz. When I was a kid all I could get was 1 or 2 spinner baits other than soft plastics. the colors were limited as well. A dark and a light work just fine I caught fish on both year round and never had a willow blade. Heck I never saw a willow blade for years.
