  1. Not that swell of a deal then?
  2. Looking around on Craigslist and came upon a seemingly good deal. Set of bf goodrich ko2 all terrain tires for my truck. 275/60/20 he wanted 100$ for the set and I got him at 80$ now. I get that they are definitely not brand new but looks like I could get about 15000 miles out of them. Lemme know what ya guys think.
  3. I went with a senko, cut r worm, craw, and frog for tonight. I'm going to try to get better at adjusting when what I'm throwing isn't working.
  4. All of the advertising stuff does get annoying. But the informational videos by glenn and others are what taught me how to fish. I mean like...taught me everything. I had nobody to teach me bass fishing. I learned by watching his and others videos. Also this forum.
  5. I'll give that a try tonight.
  6. Ahah! Great advice. Thankyou
  7. 15# P-line cx premium on rage and gsx elite. 12# big game on the other 2
  8. Can the ned be rigged weedless? This pit has alot of weeds for 15 or 20 yards out from the shore.
  9. I've been giving the jig alot of thought lately. I have tons of them. I'm bad about getting locked onto throwing a handful of baits and trying to make them work
  10. Just looking to gain some knowledge here. I typically only have room for 4 rods with me on my bass raider on a given outing. Those rods are usually rigged as followed. Looking for advice on a good starting lineup or if what I've got goin isn't too bad. 1. 6-6 MHF ethos casting-hollow belly swimbait 2. 6-6 MHF gander mtn elite casting- trig big worm or craw. 3. 6-8 MXF St.Croix Rage casting- weightless senko 4. 6-6 MHF Shimano Clarus casting- top water of some sort. Fishing a 50 acre sandpit in KS. Let me know if you guys would change anything or any tips you have.
  11. I haven't fish the lightning rod but Bluebasser86 put me onto the h20 ethos rods and it's a hell of a buy. Get the ethos. Thats my advice.
  12. This is just my opinion, but chances are she has become very wary and wont be striking at anything questionable for a while. And by questionable, I mean pretty much any of the baits we throw. I would back off a few days and give some time for her to let her gaurd down. And by that time there is no guarantee she'll be in the same spot. But there's also no guarantee she will have moved either!
  13. Care to link me to ww2farmers article? I can't find it
  14. Haha I will keep that in my bag of tricks. Swimming a buzzbait!
  15. My wife proceeds to out fish me most times when we go. For the life of me I honestly can't figure out how she does it. Lol doesn't matter I guess. She's taken what I've taught her and ran with it. She does well! Doesn't always want to stay as long as me but that's ok. She is the best. this fish was caught honest to god while she was "trolling" a senko lol
  16. I agree! Home home on the range lol
  17. Yes they do. Fishing time is too hard to come by to use baits that don't work as well.
  18. Hahaha I know I know
  19. Kansas isnt as bad as people think, I promise. Aside from the wind it's a beautiful place. The abundant agricultural settings lead to farm pond city. It is much like oklahoma.
  20. Ok thank you guys. I fish a sandpit that is just absolutely loaded with bluegill so I thought this may be worth a shot! I will swap hooks and give it a go
  21. Can anyone shed any light on whether the bluegill shaped swimbaits from h20 Xpress at academy are worth even throwing? If so, what kind of retrieve do you use? I've got a couple but haven't thrown them yet but hate to waste my time on them. I also know you never know until you try though....
  22. Here in south central kansas I like 10 or so over 2 pounds. Thats a fantastic day for me. All varies accordingly with the body of water I'm on, time of day and season, along with how long I'm on the water. But like I said, 10 or so is fantastic for me.
  23. Haha exactly! If I see the weather forecast with 10mph wind I'm pretty alright with that here in wichita lol its the 35+ that's been far too common lately
  24. The wind in Kansas is killer. Just something we get used to I guess. People wine and cry about the price of rage products but I bet when they have days like these with them, they don't have anything bad to say lol
  25. Caught these girls pitching to shoreline veggies with a 1/4 bullet and rage structure bug. They were nailing it on the drop or hop. Good evening even though quite windy
