  1. just guessing here but it may be fancy way of "thumbing" the drag, without a thumb of course.
  2. Beautiful T-musky! Almost broke fifty inches!
  3. If you want to get into deep water, slip bobbers are much better, id say anything over 3 feet a slip bobber comes into play.
  4. trolling is just about always illegal in organized tournaments.
  5. what do you guys think of ponkapoag pond? Post your average results if you'd like!
  6. wow dude, really sorry to hear that. Probably some bozo didn't know what he was doing and shoved the rod in the tube.
  7. overall id use braid if you could only choose one line for many reasons.
  8. include all the popular game fish. Make the weights realistic (ex. not a 50 pound bass) including tournaments against other people or the computer would be cool. Have a good selection of lures. Maybe include fly fishing? Have a "trophy room" for the best catches. Just a few ideas.
  9. Try wedging the staples out with a flathead screwdriver so that you can get the cap off and slide the rod out. I saved my tube as well and turned it into an "ultimate wiffle ball" bat. I'll explain the game if you really want to know about it. Anyways, I made good use of that tube until it broke down the middle. I don't know what you're going to use yours for, but that's how I used mine!
  10. That makes sense. I love my rage and a mojo bass of that caliber would be sweet. The SCIII is a very sensitive rod blank.
  11. For anyone who trout fishes, what are some good waters (lakes/ponds or rivers) northeast of winni, around the town of tamworth. not looking for spots, jut bodies of water.
  12. I'm going on a camping trip to new Hampshire next week, and the campsite sits right on a little hole called "Moore's Pond." From some research I have found there's definitely smallies in this pond, but that's really all I know about it. Has anyone else ever fished here?
  13. Hide, it's da fuzz! Haha welcome to the forum dude!
  14. great story and absolutely beautiful fish, man!
  15. welcome dude!
  16. Do you know if this mojo is going to cost more because of the SCIII blank?
  17. Hello Sean and Welcome to Bass Resource ~ Drew
  18. fishing etiquette, people! It's important!
  19. a good choice but also look into a St. Croix Rage which is still in your price range but made of a lighter and more sensitive blank than the premier. I have a medium/fast casting model and it is a BEAST! Definitely look into it.
  20. welcome!
  21. and maybe take a quick survey on favorite foods
  22. very true. I would love to get into fly fishing but the money just isn't there for me at the moment. I love trout!
  23. have you tried getting a bass to talk to you by the way?
