Packing Rods to Move
Any tips for packing rods? I have around 15 and don't want the movers to break them. Thanks!

PFD on a kayak- laws
I always wear my NRS Chinook while kayaking. I don't even notice it anymore and the pockets are awesome. I had a friend who refused to wear a PFD. He was fishing in a canoe with another friend and they tipped over when he missed a hookset. He got caught up in milfoil and drowned. It took a couple days to locate his body.

Medium light casting rod
Nice! What do you throw on that and what line are you using?

Talk to the hand
That was a hilarious response. I wouldn't let them on my property! My BIL had two lots he inherited in FL that were declared wildlife sanctuaries for scrub jay. He couldn't do a darn thing with the lots but pay taxes.

Compact Kayak
That looks way too small for an adult and that seat looks super uncomfortable. I would look at something more like a Hurricane Kayak with a frame seat. A lot more money but... KTP has their kayaks at demos days in the spring and summer. https://hurricaneaquasports.com/our-kayaks/recreational-kayaks/prima-110-sport/

Are free boating license courses okay?
I don't know about Ohio, but here in Massachusetts, I took a course taught by the local chapter of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary. It was amazing how much I learned. It was an all day in person class with 5 instructors. After the class, we took a test and if you passed you received a boater safety card. If you have the opportunity to take a class from the US Coast Guard Auxiliary, I would say go for that. I believe their primary mission is to promote recreation boater safety. After seeing how some people operate their boats, I wish it was a requirement to buy a boat!

I wasted time watching it too. It was disappointing. I have HBOmax so at least I didn't have to leave the house. I am starting to wonder if I should keep HBOmax. Not much I want to watch there.- Books that impacted you..

I think MH is the way to go with these baits. I also use a Loomis MBR783c. I did use an Abu Garcia Veritas M in the past and i was always afraid I was going to snap the thing even though that rod runs a little heavier than other mediums.- The latest sale thread
I always loved that deal. They stopped sending me promo emails last year too.- Books that impacted you..
