  1. I watched Tee Martin, Danny W and all those guys. But if we go back that far Michigan, Penn St and even Nebraska become relevant. I will give you the Urban at UF team, and Les Miles the grass chewer too.
  2. I'm not going to discount beating Trevor Lawrence and Clemson last year. I'd say winning CFP games against legitimate teams (not Notre Dame or Sparty) certainly is on a national level. LSU was historically great with Joey Burrow, last year's Bama may have been the best team they have assembled. What that has to do with the rest of the SEC is beyond me. Alabama is the only team that has dominated anything.
  3. You don't remember 2014-2015 when they beat Bama and Oregon to win it all?
  4. My 07 Tundra has toll down windows too. I get the same responses.
  5. So I should be patient and fish with live grasshoppers?
  6. They're garbage. Send them to me for proper disposal. Seriously though, I've been using them since 1982. Great worms.
  7. I've heard that whole style referred to as "Tacti-cool"
  8. For less than 2000 pesos cubanos.
  9. I look for ice out lakes, especially when the northern end still has a skim coat of ice for smallmouth. Jerkbaits, deep cranks and creatures on football jigs are killer that time of year.
  10. Same here. I have a bit of a problem with buying up all the TDs I can find. If you know of any...lol!
  11. Just checked it out, looks like a good deal for someone. I find that the larger, heavier reels fo a better job of balancing longer rods than the new lightweight reels. My green Curado is great on a 7'6" fiberglass cranking rod.
  12. A-Jay, you know it's a good storm when you use a ladder to get on the roof and just step off of it to get down.
  13. I can't speak to the Abus, but the Shimanos are great reels. I still use the Citicas of that era and I would have to spend $$$$$ to get a reel much better.
  14. I have about 100 jigs that I have to paint and tie up at the kitchen table. I'm horribly inefficient, so that should take me well into 2024.
  15. My biggest concern is how people will heat their homes this winter. I'll be fine, I have a very fuel efficient car, but high gas/heating oil prices can be crippling to folks who barely make ends meet.
  16. This x 1000. I have used these for the last few years in boats, cars, even my pantry. They've made a huge difference.
  17. I'm a serious ice fisherman-electronics, GPS my spots in the boat to return in winter, all that sort of thing. I drill upwards of 50 holes per day, move all over the lake until I figure them out-IF I figure them out that is. I primarily fish for big yellow perch, crappies and big bluegills. I catch the occasional bass, but I never target them. Lake trout and walleyes are also occasionally on my agenda too. It isn't for everybody, lots of guys just go out to drink and party-I'm not one of them however. Here's a tasty reason I ice fish.
  18. Be proactive and ask for the work early.
  19. I always have cash in a money clip in my front pocket along with my credit card. Wallet stays locked in the truck. All of my non-negotiable purchases like gas, monthly bills, etc go on the card for points. My monthly budget is set for October already, so I bring an envelope of cash to the grocery store and don't spend more than that. Dave Ramsey referenced an interesting study that showed the brain feels pain when you hand over cash and get nothing back- not the case when you hand over a piece of plastic and it comes back to you fully intact. Apparently cc users spend 12-15% more than cash buyers. My savings has grown since hearing that
  20. That's my neck of the woods.
  21. If I have to buy, Herdez, then Goya.
  22. I'm a teacher...pleading the fifth here
  23. I owe you a box of baits as it is, I'll toss some of those in too.
  24. Id like to add, use smaller lures to catch smallies. I've caught a pile of big smallmouth on 3/4 oz football jigs on 17lb test line.
