I have luck with Fat Impacts on chatterbaits and underspins.

More often than not I'll stick to plastics. Pennsylvania fishing is always finicky fishing no matter the time of year. I have been doing a lot of pond hopping waiting for my new boat reg to arrive. I've had the best luck slow hopping a mini skirtless chatterbait with a craw trailer and shakey head fishing finesse worms. I have had no luck with the usual winter suspects.. lipless cranks, jerkbaits, etc. Tomorrow I'm fishing a private two acre pond at a local university. I'm going to start with a 1/4oz Owner Shakey Head with a Creme Scoundrel in natural. My second setup will be an RC STX 110 in gold and black.

Just bought a Kistler KLX 7' M/MF for cranks, jerks and topwater. Took it out this morning with the sole goal of working lipless cranks, it did really well.

I've waited a long time for this rod. Full cork KLX 7' M CRT. its replacing my Carbon Steel composite for smaller cranks, jerks and topwater trebles.

I just bought two black back chrome RES's and two Banshee's in the simple shad color. Cannot for the life of me tell the difference.

Best wacky hook is the Owner Mosquito, my favorite wacky jig is the Owner Ultrahead in 1/16oz.

My town just got a Gander about six months ago. They have a good selection but their prices are too high. Fishing stuff, guns and ammo, clothing.. all priced on the high end. Their staff was so pushy for the first few months, but now that their honeymoon is over they've relaxed.

Hey guys, I just bought a new (to me) boat and it came with the base and transducer of a Humminbird fish finder. I'm guessing it's a 500 Series but the boat is from '96 and it could be anything. I don't know if I should buy a display and hope everything else works, or just get a completely new unit. Is it salvagable?

I looked for the thread that Glenn posted showing off a few bankroll jigs, but it seems like it has been deleted..? A few people implied this might mean a new partnership but it was never comfirmed.
