  1. what are you going to be throwing.. squarebills, small or large jerkbaits, md cranks, spinners? I'll use my M for small cranks and jerkbaits, and a MH for anything over 1/2oz or deeper than 6ft.
  2. Don't sleep on the Baker JLD. It is a fantastic bait and the blue green flash has killed it for me. It is almost a Jackall Squad Minnow clone. Suspends well, cupped bill and swims nice on the straight retrieve.
  3. FFO had them down to $66 last week.
  4. I wear Carolina's and currently have 8" Broad Toes (CA8525) with the logger bottoms. I also got a great deal on a pair of Columbia Mudhawks and I usually wear those bank fishing. What are you looking for in a boot, aside from waterproofing? Soles, steel/composite toe, height 4 6 or 8", insulation..
  5. man, a new set of waders would do!
  6. the pad crasher is a great frog, get a light and dark color.
  7. Their site crashed, ha!
  8. ugh, just cancelled the order.. hopefully it hasn't shipped yet.
  9. I thought that same thing after my first warning.
  10. I just got an Aetos 7' M/MF for $66. It'll be assigned to squarebill/jerkbait duty.
  11. To my Jackall Squad Minnow who spent more time in a box shipping from Japan than on the water.
  12. You guys use pliers? I just use my thumbnail..
  13. If its not too rip-rappy I always use InvizX in 10 or 12lb and a San Diego Jam knot.
  14. 1/8 - 3/8 Considering where I fish and how I fish, rate of fall and the smaller profile are my most paramount factors.
  15. I got a Curado 70HG for $139.99 To stay strictly in the range I would recommend the Lew's Tournament MB.
  16. Threadfin shad and anything the like will probably be fine. Silver finishes will be your best bet if you're trying to match the hatch. Give the Trick Darter a look, especially given the size of most alewife.
  17. Love the Owner Mosquito. Not a great weightless t-rig hook but for wacky and small craw applications they're fantastic. Great quality.
