  1. Maybe this is why Scheels is running the CT for a hundred bucks.
  2. Some. Mostly lures. A-Jay was influential in my Megabass Jerkbait arsenal.
  3. Bite windows or brief feeding periods are real. I’m convinced that light penetration is a major influence of when and how long they last.
  4. I was being nice and let him run the trolling motor and he refused to give it up. He lost all my OSP cranks to boot.
  5. I forgot the Bill Lewis ATV. I must be dehydrated.
  6. That’s a great list. I’d just add Luhr Jensen Speed Trap and Hot Lips and the Norman’s Deep Little N. All three are great baits.
  7. Be aware the handles are pretty short.
  8. I just don’t loose that many. Mike had a real hot sale awhile back and I stocked up. I buy all my tungsten from Seiberts. Dropshot, free weights, shaky heads and Mike has a tungsten pitching jig that is top tier.
  9. Try a shakey head with a trick worm. You never know, it might be the best thing ever for you. By the way, tubes with an inserted jig snag a bit less than beds. FFT.
  10. Dobyns 764cb. I’ve had mine four 14 years. You throw 3/8 to 3/4 ounce baits regardless of what depth they run. I use it for lipless up to a 6XD. It was designed for the Deep Little N but can handle bigger divers.
  11. I have a different take on confidence baits. I have confidence in specific baits for specific situations. I don’t have a confidence bait for 365 days. Each scenario generally points to certain baits and I start there but keep an open mind to making adjustments.
  12. Champion, Kaden, Sierra, Fury, Frenzy, Maverick. Alpha Anglers also uses that reel seat. The Champion Xtreme is painted with a custom lock nut hood.
  13. Dobyns does and the Edge Delta series switched to the acsm last October. I like it because of the manner in which I palm the reel.
  14. Scheels has/had the Tatula CT for 99.99 and that is hard to pass up.
  15. I would hold it and squeeze it and pet it George.
  16. When you see that a jig can be hopped, dropped, shaken, dragged and swam, the various head shapes and hook arrangements will make more sense. You can find a jig for every scenario. The style and trailer options are endless. Define what you want your jig to do and match the head style and then the trailer. You can haul fire wood in a Corvette but using a pickup makes more sense.
  17. Get him one of those super smooth reels from Ibufrofin.
  18. That looks like a custom painter in what may be blue ghost craw. Check Etsy and EBay.
