Well the Olympics has concluded. I watched the summer Olympics since 1964 and this has been one of the most memorable. It has been the most diverse to date. I’m one of those weirdos that loves track and field for reason. I don’t care what country wins what or how many medals. The athletes are the focus regardless of nationality. The spirit of the Olympics was evident this year. How refreshing.

The point on Mosquito hooks are off set a few degrees but the off set is so minimal it doesn’t rotate a bait enough to effect it’s position when nose hooked. Just nose hook and go. It’s a great hook.

Honestly? No. If it requires that I have to navigate the zoo at the ramp and the irritations on the water, I don’t care to go. If I’m fishing a new venue with promising habitat and fish counts and can get out mid week, that’s different. I also get excited to fish the structure others drive over. If I can get the long rod out and crank deeep, I can get excited.

I guess I’m an optimist and realist. After forty years, I know a universal power rating is impossible. What is far more important is a consistency in the progression of the powers within the brand or series. I also feel consistent actions are just as critical. Good luck!
