Try this. 1. Position your boat right over the object the fish is tangled with. 2. Give the fish slack line 3. Proceed to stomp on your boat like a mad man. As it will scare your fish out because the stomping sounds like gun shots going off underwater. Just make shure your drag is set accordingly.

Dont worry i hit a deer once with my parents mini van. I didnt have rope so into the back seat it went. Never could get that smell out.....mom sold the van. The funny thing was it was my dads idea.

its a tolling motor only lake. Lots and lots of laydowns. What I did when I was down there I skipped a hony toad up under trees and laydowns. But I was down there in may of this year.

How did you get the frog to float.

I have that happen to me on more than one occasion. What I do is to stick my index finger on the lowest part of the hook I can, inside the fish mouth. It is kinda like using a pry bar or some sort of leverage point. I could draw a pic if you are confused.

I happen to know where a small mouth river is. It is located in wells co. Also if you can get a hold of a canoe float down the st marys river there have been monster large mouth bass and small mouth. I live on the river in Decatur but never fished behind log jams ripples and the such. But I am told they are there by a fishing buddy that dosn't make up fish stories. PM me if you are interested.

I fish a lake similar to 90x near ludington. I either kill the 12-14 inchers or catch 20-24 inchers one way or the other. My pb came from near baldwin at 7 lbs.

I did the same thing to zoom horny toads. I make them last for weeks. The toads acutally get teeth marks in them after a while.

What I have found to work good for me is to, wait for the strike. Then slowly pull the rod back or slowly reel till I fell tension then set the hook like a mad man. It works for me. if i miss a strike I just cast right into the same spot and fish it slow.

I was wondering if there are any carp in the lake I fish on in northern Michigan. The lake is 100 miles north of Grand Rapids. I have never seen a carp in the shallows sunning.

Well about 1 year ago. My gf and I were on a fishing trip. I had borowed my parents van for the trip. The fishing rods were up agianst the window (windows are resses from door panel) with the tips twards the front of the van. We were unloading the van when the gf opened the fishing rod side door. The tip of my g. lomis rod bent all of the way around till the tip of the rod touched back 3 or 4 eyes back. I was amazed that the rod didn't break. The rod just has a permant bend the right. Is this something that is covered with the warranty? It just casts to the right. Its not a huge deal just didn't know if this would be covered
