Can you take spanish and still get the Biology minor? If you can take the classes and get to AT LEAST a proficient level than that might help you a lot. My field isn't really related to psychology but there are a LOT of local and federal jobs that I can't get because I am not proficient in spanish or some other second language and it's probably similar in the case of a lot of psychology careers. I think it could really open some doors later on, even if you don't minor in spanish but still achieve proficiency by taking classes.
  3. If you have a flipping stick you can throw a 7" Slammer. They weigh close to 2oz. They are more than $20 but they are still relatively inexpensive. You have to remember that wake style swimbaits are fished on the surface and on heavy gear so you don't really have to worry about losing them too much. Suck it up and spend the money on a REAL swimbait. I've caught plenty of fish on mine and I've only been fishing it since the beginning of the summer. It is WELL WORTH the $35
  4. The braid will help a ton. Good luck dude.
  5. Spro frogs + braided line should help get the hook in. A heavy and long flipping stick is an added bonus.
  6. That is a good question. I was assuming it was a bass club?
  7. Posted a few weeks ago, but still funny.
  8. Went out with Slip Gun and Potomac Angler today to go for some snakeheads and bass. I have been wanting to cross snakeheads off of my freshwater-fish-to-catch list for some time and Potomac Angler has given me some great advice and guidance in a high population area. We fished right after low tide with frogs and spinnerbaits. Potomac Angler caught a handful of bass including a nice 5.5lb And then it finally happened. Slip Gun missed a hit on his frog so I threw right back to the area as he retrieved his bait. KABOOM! Snakehead time! Ended up winching this baby out of the weeds: Slip Gun dispatched it with a few oar strikes to the head (or so we thought) about an hour later we were back at the ramp. I picked the fish up to take it out of the bottom of the boat and it started flopping around again. It is currently sitting in a cooler with ice on my deck and I wouldn't be too surprised if it still had some life in it. SNAKEHEAD HUNT 2009: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED
  9. I see that low tide is supposed to be right after noon. Excellent!
  10. I'm not promising anything but I still have an old design I made for another high school club. I'll change the colors around when I get some time and post a picture for ya.
  11. I just wasn't sure if your friend was going to go along or anything. Sounds good to me.
  12. What are your high school's colors?
  13. Give me a call if you've still got room.

I'm going to try the latest package of Shads that I have, but if I have trouble with them I'm just going to stick with the toads.

I fish the toad like a Zoom Horny Toad. I don't know how else you would fish it besides as a topwater.

I had the same problem with the first package I tried. Then I switched to the toads. They seem to turn over less than the shads. It's weird because I fish with other guys who use the shad and they have none of the issues I have had.
  17. I'm just messing with ya. You're right, the rest of the schedule is pretty soft.
  18. As an LSU fan, how can you call Mississippi State "pretty d**n easy"? ;D

I noticed it as well but then I saw his facebook updates. Looks like he's been on vacation with his lady
  20. I've heard they balance perfectly with zillion reels but mine feels pretty awesome with a Revo Premier (6.35oz) on it. Well....mine is matched with an alphas103....if I'm not mistaken, that's around 6.4oz, and is a wonderfull match, feels like they were made to go together. I have an SHA that I haven't tried on it yet but the Alpha is gonna be hard to beat I know what you mean, my Premier weighs the same and like I said, it feels pretty darn awesome.

  22. I'm not giving Boise State any credit. Sure, they beat Oregon, but I'm not convinced Oregon is any more than mediocre. They beat a highly ranked Cal team, which other than Jahvid Best, is decent, but not a top 10 team. Therefore, Boise still has no case in my eyes.
  23. There, I fixed it to make it more accurate and accordingly less impressive. ;D At least they aren't Boise State...those jokers deliberately schedule easy games throughout the year to go undefeated and then complain when they don't get voted into the "Big boys club." I can't believe they are in the top 5...
  24. Thai, did you find any partners for today? I was thinking about heading down there but I didn't know if I was too late.
