  1. "upgraded version of six pin reels" lol, for some reason you have this notion that six pins are inferior or cheap or something. but this is off topic, I'm gonna stop
  2. negative......... seriously...and doesn't your steez have foam?
  3. It's a carbon fiber handle. You may see weird, others see a grip that is more sensitive than cork.
  4. So, just to make sure...You're cool with spending more than $400 on a Steez reel and rod but you don't see why people would spend LESS than that on an Avid or JDM reels? And if you don't appreciate 3oz then what was it that attracted you to the Steez products? It couldn't be sensitivity because you said yourself that your Mojo feels just like the Steez? And since when are "six pin reels" inferior? It's a different style of brakes. It's no better or worse than MagForce, it's just different.
  5. nothing...I'm a little tired of your negativity my friend... seriously, almost all of your posts read as "grump, grump, grump, grump" It's a pretty unique style of rod that offers a new take on how to extract the most sensitivity out of a rod blank. Thanks for the honest answer, that's all I wanted. I only act like a grump grump grump when some people are acting like babies. I don't have time for feelings, or anyone's current emotional state. : One look at the rod would have supplied that "honest answer."
  6. after a $20 rebate they are $159 at ***.com
  7. lmao, you're kidding, right? Have you fished with a steez rod? I have the 7 mh and I can honestly say the mojo feels just like it except for the cork handle. except the steez is like 3oz lighter and way more sensitive 3 ounces? : and more sensitive for $300 : your comparing apples to oranges man...plus a lifetime warranty..ALL fuji components, the aluminum foregrip nut, waaaay more technology is in that steez then the mojo could think of,i to have both and blindfold me and i can tell the HUGE difference between the two thats like saying a corvette is the same, just as good or better then a Ferrari : agreed. The Mojos are blown away by the Avids which are then again blown away by the Legend Tournaments let alone a friggin' Steez. sweet_daddy, are you fishing with mittens on or do you have prosthetic hands? No, and where I fish most men don't need light low profile reels, and a high dollar rod to catch fish. says the guy with the steez rod and zillion reels...

  9. No problem. Good luck, it's never been very productive for me.
  10. I-66 towards Centreville, north on Rt.28, first right (Walney Rd.) It is a very small pond with lots of lily pads.
  11. Try walking it using a more subtle rod motion than you would use with a zara spook style bait. That worked for me.
  12. of course. I downloaded dos box a couple years ago so I could play my old classics: Full Throttle, Day of the Tentacle, and Star Wars: Rebel Assault. Those were the best Windows 95 DOS games lol. Full Throttle was the best though, I remember my mom telling my dad that I was not allowed to play it... so funny you are the only person I know who has heard of those games besides me and my brothers. BTW, you are forgetting Sam and Max.

I was excited about it at first but after seeing the trailers I have realized it is going to be one of those cheesy action movies. Where the heck did the bionic suits come from? They just made stuff up that completely deviates from the original...

I plan on seeing it sometime. I liked Sandler's comedy movies as well as the more serious ones ie: Spanglish. I also like most of Apatow's stuff a lot.
  15. Does this sound like chinese to anyone else? I mean, I am pretty computer literate and know some of these acronyms but I cannot make sense of this stuff.
  16. Does the local Bass Pro Shop carry Kistlers? I have one of the Magnesium flipping and pitching sticks and it's awesome. It also works great for frogs.
  17. That was my immediate thought.
  18. lol Micro. I gotcha Andrew. I don't know why I didn't even think of that. Anyway, if we both end up being able to go then I will be more than happy to drive. I am familiar with the Greentop/BPS/Gander Mtn/Richmond Raceway routes. Oh, btw, my vote is for the BBQ place outside of Greentop but if we have a bunch of guys going we might want to go somewhere with more room. There is another BBQ joint farther north on Route 1 that I've heard is pretty good. I think it's called the Smokey Pig? It's a woodsided building.

When the fish strikes, I give it a 1...2 SWING! You need to hit them hard enough to compress the bait. Also make sure the frog doesn't have any water in it, that will make compression more difficult.
  20. I've never fished in Dogue Creek but I have fished north of there and seen it on the way.
  21. yeah, it's the side opposite of Ft. Belvoir. The house is way out on the end of the point. I think that is the biggest house I have ever seen.
  22. I was wondering the same thing. Not gonna lie, I did not have the best attendance record in undergrad. As a matter of fact, after the first year of grad school I was voted most likely to skip class. I guess since she can't land a job, I have no chance. Now, who can I sue??? I remember one class in my last semester that was Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays. I ONLY went to class on Fridays because we had weekly quizzes. The rest of the classes were useless. I got 90s or 100s on the quizzes anyway. I ended up with a B in that class, although it was sociology so it's not like it's that hard.
  23. Looks like 3 or less.
  24. did you see that giant house on the Mt. Vernon side of Dogue Creek out as it meets the Potomac?
