I have the 7 mh and I can honestly say the mojo feels just like it except for the cork handle. except the steez is like 3oz lighter and way more sensitive 3 ounces? : and more sensitive for $300 : your comparing apples to oranges man...plus a lifetime warranty..ALL fuji components,the aluminum foregrip nut,waaaay more technology is in that steez then the mojo could think of,i to have both and blindfold me and i can tell the HUGE difference between the two thats like saying a corvette is the same,just as good or better then a Ferrari : agreed. The Mojos are blown away by the Avids which are then again blown away by the Legend Tournaments let alone a friggin' Steez. sweet_daddy, are you fishing with mittens on or do you have prosthetic hands?

Hey guys, I'm headed out to Danville, CA for my brother's wedding for about a week from August 10th-16th. I was looking around for some lakes on Google maps but it seems that most of them are closed to the public. Anyone have any spots they would be willing to share?

Andrew, just take a set amount of cash and leave your credit cards at home. It really does have some cool stuff (including Zillion rods...) Also, you should see the Hooker Bait and Tackle store down in Williamsburg. Talk about having a lot of japanese lures. They have more japanese lures in one place than I've ever seen.

wow, only six boats? I always figured that place would get a lot of pressure because of all the press it got for its bass population before it opened. I am probably going to rent a boat at either Hunting Run or Motts Run next week.

Yes, I have a better spot, at least for size. I'll show it to you sometime. BTW, I stayed up all night last night and went fishing at 5:30 this morning. I crushed them at a local pond. Got a bunch on buzzbaits and then went back and fished the same areas with a jig and picked up a couple more. Then I fished another area with a frog and caught a few more. Probably caught 8-10 in about 1.5 hours. Morning is the way to go in the summer.

The best fishing stores in the area are Dick's at Fair Lakes and the Dick's at the Dulles Town Center. Neither of them are that great but they are the best we have. The Gander Mountain in Fredericksburg is, in fact off of Rt. 3 near the Central Park shopping area. I have stopped there many times. It is a pretty good store. They have a decent selection but it's no Bass Pro shop. There is also another Gander Mountain in Winchester which is roughly the same distance and could be a substantially shorter trip depending on traffic. If any of you guys haven't been to Greentop near Ashland, VA then you need to go. There is a Gander Mountain, a Bass Pro Shop and Greentop all within a few miles. Greentop has some AWESOME stuff and great customer service. The other two have bigger selections but they don't carry some of the cool items that Greentop has.

The PETA headquarters being a few miles away didn't stop him from using his house for dog fights... I wouldn't really mind seeing him play again. He served his time and as long as he stays out of trouble then I'm ok with it (although I don't think he will stay out of trouble, his past along with his brother's demonstrate a pretty high level of thuggery). You can't deny that he is an exciting player to watch. I think he really changed the traditional role of the quarterback--not so much in the NFL but definitely for high school and college teams.

That has been my experience with the Rappahanock. Lots of fish but few big ones. I went wading for smallies last week at my good spot for bigger smallies and I saw three that were pushing 3lbs and one that was definitely over 3lbs but I couldn't get any of them to bite.
