  1. That's exactly what mine is like but bigger. I even thought about using a CD case but I couldn't find one around the house.
  2. the only bad thing about spinnerbait boxes is that they take up a ton of room.
  3. One of these. Also holds my jigs
  4. Braddock is also private. There are tons of others. Check out Google Maps. There are small lakes that are part of Fairfax county parks department as well as small neighborhood and corporate ponds that might technically be private but aren't as sketchy
  5. I think it's a semantics thing. I'd like to get the whole story as far as where the components are made vs where they are put together. Handcrafted, built, made, etc...don't necessarily mean the same thing.
  6. I haven't heard of anyone fishing it. There are too many other lakes/ponds in the area that are less sketchy.
  7. It'd be better to compare the LTB than a Magnesium OR a Helium seeing as they are at the same price point.
  8. lmao @ "lacks strength, knowledge, and character needed to catch even a single dolphin."

yeah, then ESPN threatened to have the owners of the website charged unless they took it down so they did. I hope they caught the guy.
  10. I think that he could have a chance depending on what he does this year but as of now, I don't think he has quite achieved that level. Archie Griffin, Earl Campbell, Tommie Frazier, and more of these guys come to mind.
  11. no problem. If you ever go on one of their excursions and you meet someone named Dan, it will probably be me.
  12. Yeah, man. You are a regular legend now! Thanks for bringing a totally unique and previously unknown expression to the forum!
  13. I am going to PM you a local website for fisherman from the Ashburn area. They are a great bunch of guys that are extremely willing to help new anglers. Many of the members are actually high school guys like yourself who are new to the fishing scene. They also make fairly frequent kayak and canoe trips on the Potomac and almost always have an extra canoe or kayak to share. Just make sure you ask your parents before you meet up with any of them. I can assure you they are a great bunch of guys but I'm guessing your parents would really want to know before you meet people from the internet.

I guess you completely missed her face? ;D seriously....I for one, value a face over "body tone" in a woman's arms.... : just messin with ya, BassnBlvd

Like what? I mean, I understand the whole Cold War aspect but are there any real tangible benefits? Hmmm... Maybe how the Earth was formed??? By the way, tune in to Mythbusters. They are doing a special on this very topic. What does it matter how the earth was formed? I mean that's great that we know it but does it really change anything?

Thanks for trying not to bore me, but I'm sure there are other things that when fueled by billions and billions of dollars could have produced the same tangible and most of the same intangible benefits as NASA

  18. And autistic children also have characteristics that make them better than "typical" children at some things. Autism often includes the ability to identify patterns, great memory, and the ability to think "outside the box." The way their brains work can give them characteristics that separate them from other people. Maybe he can't articulate why he chooses certain lures or spots, but that doesn't necessarily mean his brain hasn't processed the information in a certain way to give him those answers whether he is actually autistic or not.
  19. That's exactly what I was trying to say except I don't necessarily think it's necessarily a high "IQ" as much as other types of smarts...I hope that makes sense.
  20. I saw one walking along the side of the interstate when I was on my way to Stonewall...I'd never seen that before.

This is the big debate right now. We know it's not really a viable option to live on the moon, so researchers are now pushing to search on Mars. Somebody just has to get the balls to do it. the only way I would move to Mars is if they put in some lakes and they called it Ameri-mars.

I hope she covers some games where the weather is warm. That woman loses viewers when she puts on a jacket...
  23. maybe FoM didn't see the rest of the story... I certainly didn't and I thought you guys were just picking on a newbie. Without the whole perspective the sarcasm is hard to detect.

are we really any closer to living on the moon than we were 50 years and billions of dollars ago? Why not try to use that money and time to figuring out how to make Earth livable. (Overpopulation is mostly caused by poverty)
  25. Reston residents only. aka private... and even further, I know some of those other lakes up there are Reston Association members only.
