Truly unbelievable scale model of a Ferrari
That's why they need bass fishing in the UK. Reminds me has anyone else seen that mind numbing show on WFN called Fish-O-Mania. I take it as "The Classic" equivalent over there but it is just plain ole _________.

Just throw in the towel!
I just thank God I didn't have to hook up on sorry county water when I put my house in a while back. It did cost me $6000 to drill the well (400+ ft) but it would have cost more than that just to get a line to the road where you hook up on the county water (2000+ ft). So you could add a monthly bill of $15-$20 on top of whatever it would have cost to hook up on the county water. Gotta love living in the country.

A week in WV with Jimzee - now with more gooey photo goodness!
You know who to call to get the hook up with KVD, heck you could hand deliver his finesse jigs to him.

Need some advice on my favorite lake...
Do you have any idea how many people are taking the fish they catch up there. I would say the ones you were catching last year were some of the restocks they put in after they drained and built the new dam. I would imagine they put them in with a catch and realease only policy but you gotta remember where that place is and the fools up there will take anything they hook, and alot of those fish you put back are most likely fertilizer now. Don't forget the idiot-rig it will allways bring in something.

How much do you spend on fishing stuff?
I could get by with what I have for now the rest of the year and even next year. And I ordered another $400 worth of stuff today.

Fished Falcon
That's it, finally figured out why Burley only pulls dinks he is fishing in a different dimension from the rest of us, even when we're on the same boat. ;D

All you gonna need is P-line CXX, will have it in this week along with the reel. Checked yesterday they have 25 of them at the warehouse.

Don't worry jim in time you grow an immmunity to the curse and you can still get them even if Burley is on the boat from the beginning. Although you may have pushed your luck by letting him run the TM. BTW love the dog.

And how long did it take me to talk you into getting one, "I don't see paying for radio......blah blah blah" That will cost you one series 6 in the new Sunrise Sexy Shad, which is really sweet BTW.

Pond Drained.. *Findings
"slabs" is just a generic term used to describe the size of any panfish whether it be bluegill, crappie, redeye whatever meaning you can fillet it and get some "slabs" of meat. Just because the greatest majority of the time you hear the term "slab" crappie doesn't mean that's their name just means they are big, I reffer to oversize bluegill as "slab" bluegill all the time. If any of ya watched the Flamich Cup then take a tip from Ray Scott don't feed the bass feed the bluegill and make them big for the bass to feed on them and get big themselves.

Tournament Story
Talking about the lakes being trashy, I was talking this morning with a supplier about a lake in KY that we are gonna go fish this weekend. I have been to it once with BigTom and was told it was quite trashy well I have fished lakes in 6-7 different states and never seen anything as trashy. You see soccer balls well it is basketballs in this one, he said if had a dollar for every b-ball he has seen in that lake he could buy a new Ranger. Had a guy in a tourny this past weekend gashed the side of his Ranger about 5' long and at the end you could reach into the dry storage from hitting a freezer in this lake. And it is only 700 acres.

Pond Drained.. *Findings
Could also be a overpopulation issue. It is great to have a bunch of bass in the pond but if you want them to grow you need to take quite a few to keep the population in control to promote growth and not have a pond full of 1-2's that don't have enough food or room to grow.

oooooouuuuuch... aka "the fish that got me back"
Had one go in on me once while setting here in my store, I was just picking it up and grabbed the counter and in the finger, deep and at about the same angle. But silly me just kept working at it and turned it up and pushed it on through and out, took about 30 inutes but I did it. Don't consider it being tough just stubborn.

Do WV fish hate Me?
You shold see when Burley and I are on the same boat you can't move for the tackle. At least I am a little better than him in that I will throw everything to try and find something that works.

My week at Lake Erie: June 7th - 14th.
Been waiting for you to post about your trip. I can see why you told me I needed to head up there. I think even Burley could pull some decent ones out of there.

My Elite Series report (KY Lake)
Excellent reading. A good friend of Burley and myself are gonna try and get in at least one next year as a co-angler. Still trying to talk Burley into putting in with us, with him it would be 5 of us putting in and 2 o us should get in at least once to split the travel expenses and such.

What is your favorite part of catching a big fish?
I voted for "landing and taking a good look", I have lost to many big fish 10 foot or less from the boat that landing it has to be the best.

Nothing works with Vista, heck Vista doesn't even work with Vista.

Carrot Stix Warranty story
I had an Acadia replaced with just a phone call. Just told them I broke it fishing they had my info in the system asked which one it was and in about 3 days a new one was at the house no questions asked no pics nothing. Burley don't worry about our Stix we won't have to send them to Canada just to KY, that is if we ever have a warranty issue.

Cordless Drill at Low Speeds
Won't hurt the drill at all especially at slow speeds it isn't gonna get hot enough to do any damage. The only thing you will want to do is completely drain the battery don't change it as soon as it starts getting a little weak, just like all other rechargeables they last longer when you do this. What you would have to worry about is using them like I do when you do highspeed or heavy drilling for continuous periods like drilling through truck frames. I have melted the motor out of 4 different drills, 2 DeWalt and 2 Bosh. I will never own another DeWalt they can't hold a candle to the Bosh Brute Tough tools and they Bosh also has a 3 year warranty which I have tested. I have only bought one new drill in 4 years now (warranty was out) but Bosh has replaced or repaired the ones I have 4 times. Never got service like this from DeWalt especially with how I use them.
