New KVD Crankbait Rods
Held one of the 7' M today...felt a little heavy and the blank was pretty thick at the foregrip. Not what I expected :-/

Red Vs. Plain
I love Diachi Trebles and can't find them anywhere around here except for the bleeding bait hooks. I use them and can't say they honestly attract more fish than black nickel or bronze. I do prefer black nickel for my hooks though.

Yea Bluesville is a lot different. Haven't had mine on much lately, do they still do Daily Cup of Joe and the Chess Record Hour?

special trip
I appreciate the fact that when I get there we only catch a couple of dinks (in Paul's mind that is a 3 lbr) : Hopefully we can get out tomorrow and catch some of your average size fish haha

Anyone else here like to read?
I'm almost buy more books than fishing lures. Hemingway's shorts are very good. Haven't read as many of his novels but they're in the pile. As well as Poe's Dupin Tales, and The Divine Comedy. College has killed my reading time. It's all I did in my high school classes.

Custom vs. Lucky Craft, IMA, Megabass, etc.
I think finding that one lure you describe as being "magic" just takes time and money. I think consistency will be an issue with every bait no matter the price, brand, construction or anything. For all we know, that "magic" bait may be the very lure that's a little off from the rest of them. Another thing that is a factor I believe is that each person may have a different bait that will be magic or money for them. A lot of factors come in to play, what is the primary structure or technique that you are going to be using cranks? You say you like RC 1.5s so I'm guessing you primarily crank fairly shallow water and some sort of cover. Talk to a couple of custom builders about the conditions you primarily fish and they'll be able to help you out.

The 25lb Bass
- IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!
It's a sad, sad day....- Strike King customer service
Chris is a stand up guy. I have met and dealt with him several times, always friendly and has always made time to chat with me.- The 25lb Bass
Reel Cowboy, I'll admit it might have been somewhat of an argument but not in any means was there any bad blood involved we all agree to disagree here. I guess we just didn't understand each others point that we were trying to make. All is fun here.- NFL Player introductions
Good secondary come from the south east, except Troy P. Florida, Florida State, Miami, LSU.- The 25lb Bass
I'm not trying to be rude, but I don't think you understand fully what you said. You were saying that part of the reason the fish in California get so big is because they don't have the pressure that those in Texas have. Do you really think that the potential to catch a World Record Bass would not attract a LARGE amount of people to that body of water? Documented proof that it lived there and that it could be caught, and you don't think that lake would attract numerous anglers? It may be a pond compared to Fork, Falcon, Rayburn, Toledo Bend, or even my KY Lake and that makes for an unfair comparison. But I do think you are disrespecting it and the anglers. That's 70 acres of super clear water with lots of guys throwing everything day in and day out.- The 25lb Bass
They only have trolling motors because you are not allowed to bring your own boat. Only rent those jon boats with trolling motors. Also, did you ever think you didn't see anyone there because of the filming process? Ask Mattlures or Bizz or Branuss or anybody from Cali how many people fish that lake during the spawn. I bet you'd be surprised how much pressure actually hits that lake. That lake is only 70 acres at full pool. I would be willing to bet everything I had there are more people fishing Dixon per acre then Fork.- Diawa lures what do you think?
The peanuts are some of my favorite cranks! A very overlooked bait, I prefer them over Bandits.- Another reason why California SUCKS!!!! Episode #2
Unless the midget is two feet tall that fish would be too big for Burley- Can't take TheBeast anywhere...
You guys already agreed that ya'll resemble a lot like those guys off wrong turn...you were wrong! Way worse ;D- Larry Fitzgerald
Yea I'd definitely say Fitzgerald and Warrick Dunn are in the same class. LT can let his mouth and attitude go sometimes though. Speaking of Warrick Dunn, did anybody see the mini doc they made about him and his mom? Saddest thing I saw all last year.- For those guys that like long rods for cranking.
X2. Or, if this will be for lighter cranks, the CBR903 loads up really well. FD X -10 The CBR906 is horrible at throwing deep diving cranks. The handle is just too short. I believe it was designed for and excels at casting and fishing lipless cranks.- Larry Fitzgerald
I really don't think that's what he's about though. I think he's all about his team and the game. Which is something very rare for a receiver of his caliber. I'm glad he's got his head above all of that.- Sweet sassy molassy! Shimano cures all disease!
I agree completely Flechero. But it would've been just as easy to keep the blank a matte black color with a mean gold or silver bone fish logo and look nice. Remove the foregrip. Same high quality cork full rear grip. Either a decorative butt cap or a rubberized cork. All black hardware. I can't imagine anything better then that right there :'(- Check out who's comming to KY Lake in April...
If someone will let me know for sure that they will hold my registration packet and not let Burley take it so he can get seconds of everything...I'll make the trip Wednesday night- Larry Fitzgerald
With the success the Cardinals have had this year, I have seen several interviews of Larry Fitzgerald. He as always been well dressed, clean cut, well spoken, and carried himself well. I have yet to hear of him getting in any trouble off the field either. After reading this I really don't think I have more respect for anyone in the NFL. This guy is THE perfect man for any team. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs2008/news/story?id=3867088&campaign=rss&source=ESPNHeadlines- Sweet sassy molassy! Shimano cures all disease!
Loomis rods would be perfect if they got rid of the foregrip and the plastic looking butt cap >- Sweet sassy molassy! Shimano cures all disease!
What's that suppose to mean? I think what he's trying to say is that most of the G. Loomis lineup doesn't really look all that great. They don't try to impress anybody with looks. They are very old school when it comes to aesthetics. But they're rods fish amazingly and that is what matters to their company. - IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!
