  5. Quick! Hurry! He has possessed your wife. Its a trick! 'Nana Breath is having to resort to devious tricks in this economic downturn! ;D Now that's funny I don't care who ya are!!!!!!
  6. I have found with top water lures including buzzbaits, that I want a rod with a soft tip, and a med. action. I learned to set the hook fishing salmon and steelhead, which is cross their eyes every time. When I am fishing reaction baits like topwater lures, I still have the knee jerk reaction of trying to hit the home run when setting the hook, so I use a softer rod, to make my hook sets easier and slower.
  7. Look for a vacuum line that may have come off during oil change.... Vacuum will do strange things to an engine if it is leaking.
  8. I would try a bluegill colored crankbait, or a jig with a ragetail craw as a trailer, pitching into and around the lilly pads.
  9. The Bait Monkey commands that u do it!!!!!
  10. Jighead with a Zoom Monster in your favorite color.

  15. Kistler makes great rods, Another rod to look at is B&R Outlaw rods. They are great people and have a fantastic warranty.
  16. I think it would be a good all purpose fishing boat. Depends on the width, but I would think a 20 ft boat would be plenty wide enough.
  17. Where you at in Atlanta? Tribble Mill in Gwinnett Co, is a good lake to bank fish from.. that is where I go most of the time. Gonna try Bear Creek Res. this weekend I think out towards Jefferson.

Leopold or Bushnell make some excellent binos in that price range, with the eye relief you need for eye glasses (i wear em too). The Wind River series from Leopold are pretty nice. Nikon makes some good ones too.... best thing to do with optics, is to play with them,... go to an outdoor store and look thru and play with several diff. types till you find one that fits you best.
  19. Dont feel bad, am having to sell my jon boat, . gonna have to be a bank fisherman too, except when one of the guys I know takes pity on me, lol
  20. Use a wacky rigged Senko on a circle hook.
  21. Red, Try some Suffix Performance Braid.... It casts great. I use 30 lb. on my baitcasters.

You are seeing the upgraded programming. Sometime back, they switched the name to Versus, and they decided to start showing hockey, those guys wearing tight clothes on bikes, and even tennis. Seems the outdoor stuff, was not what they wanted to show on a regular basis at a time when it could be watched. I even sent an email of complaint to them, never got a reply back, but did not really expect one.
  23. Was just wondering where everyone is fishing, what your catching them on, etc.... Also, if anyone has any info on Bearcreek, between Athens and Winder.
  24. Not sure I would trust it,, for about 10.00 at Home Depot, you can get PVC pipe and end caps, guaranteed waterproof then.
  25. With Snoop and Willie together,, you could get a 2nd hand high just by being in the same county lol
