  1. Hit Jackson Lake last night. We fished from 8:30 - 2:30 in the morning. I caught 2 little dinks before dark on a popper. After that, it was all down hill. A few bites, buddy lost a big one in some rip rap. Had a @$%&@%%^%^ snake try to get in the boat with us.. I HATE SNAKES!!!!!!! . But the fish were all suspended out deep, nothing hit around the lighted docks. Saw lots of bluegill surfacing, but nothing as far as bass go. We threw rattle traps, crankbaits, Crigs with black zoom monsters, black and blue jigs with ragetail chunks, nadda, nien, zip, zero, blanked, lol :-/
  2. Kudos to the man for quick thinking, and having the equipment to do the job.

  14. It should pull the boat ok. Just dont expect it to accelerate like it normally does. Go easy when taking off.
  15. I think I would get me a set of large weighted trebles and drag the area where the pole sank, to try and retrieve it.
  16. Welcome, and that is a great setup.... however, be prepared. You have only slightly appeased the baitmonkey.... he will demand more and more as you fish more.. ;D
  17. Good luck and God Bless you Andy. I know how your friends and family feels. My nephew has been over to Iraq once for a year. We just found out, he will be deployed there again, next summer. This time he will also be a father. I send my prayers every night for all the fighting men and women that stand guard for us. I also send my thanks for doing what you do. John
  18. Matt, You are not the only one in a bind like that, but it will get better, I believe that. We Americans have a way of rebounding from anything thrown at us and making it better than before.

  22. The ragetail baits are in my opinion, the best new bait out there. I love the shad, and am going to try the craws, etc.. this weekend.

  24. I heard a woman on the radio today, talking about how she spoke with Mr. Snow on his radio show. She has terminal cancer. He checked up on her several times afterwards over the months, just to make sure she was ok. We need more people like him in this world.... Rest in Peace.
  25. you do have to mail them $50 But, it does not matter how or when you break it. They replace it. Period! For the life of the rod.
