  1. This is like waiting for the chef to come out after you complained your steak was not cooked right.
  2. Now those are some awesome looking rods and reels. Euro/Asian markets only????? :'( :'( :'( :'(
  3. awwwwwww heck,,,I did that last week. :o : : : : ok, ok.. pretty darn awesome .
  4. Sure is,,, all the explorers, and rangers are built on the same frame, same for the mazda P/Us, sport tracs, etc...
  5. One thing for sure.. no one would steal it.... it is to identifiable, lmao.... grabs your attention for sure. :)
  6. I know Seattle wants him back... hmmmmmmmmmmm sounds like an idea,, if they can ever get any pitchers that can pitch worth a darn.
  7. Wow... one wonders though, how many tries it took to get the shots that we see.
  8. I was thrilled to see that Jr. had finally hit #600. I followed him all thru his years in Seattle. He has the sweetest, smoothest swing of anyone I have ever seen. 1st ballot hall of famer in my opinion.
  9. I apologize... Was just using the 10/22 as a reference. Did not mean to take it off topic.
  10. Welcome Aboard! And it is just as hot over here in Ga.
  11. And why were we not ALL invited to dinner??? > > ;D ;D ;D ;D Looked absolutely delicious
  12. Supposed to be 97 here.. bank read out yesterday said 105. Its so hot, that the devil is relocating north for a few days. Glenn, you can have it... cause we have about another 3 months of this here in HOTLANTA
  13. Using 10 worms, I have seen guys rig a trailer hook, and basically double rig the worm. It works for them, and it is weedless still. I personally have not tried it yet, have not had the need. Even 2 lb. fish will inhale a 10 in. worm.
  14. For hardcore fishing, nothing beats my Abus, for the abuse they will take not only from me, but from the fish as well. However, I also own Shimanos, a BPS reel, and Daiwa reels.
  15. Big Lakes: Oconnee Jackson Electric only lakes, or small outboards, Varner Charlie Elliot Wildlife Area - about 15 small lakes Sandy Creek Commerce Water shed All within an hour of Athens.
  16. OK guys, (and gals). These are the rods I am considering. They are at the top end of my finances, at this time. Give me your pros and cons. I am looking for a worm/jig/split shot all purpose rod here. These are all spinning rods, as that is what I prefer for these uses. Pricing is basically off of BPS, other than the B&R rod. Thanks St. Croix Premier Spinning 6 - 12 LB 1/4 - 5/8 OZ 7' M 1 PIECE HANDLE E PS70MF $99.99 Team Diawa Light & Tough 6-14 LB 1/8-3/4 OZ 7' M 1-PIECE TL-701-3FS SPIN/JIG $129.95 Shimano Compre 6-12 LB 3/16 -5/8 OZ 7' M HANDLE E CPSX70MB $99.99 Quantum Energy PT 6-12 LB 1/4-3/4 OZ 7' M 1-PC QES704F HANDLE B FAST $99.99 B&R Outlaw Rod BR70MS Spinning Rod with 10" Handle 7'0" Medium 1/8 - 1/2 6 to 17 $129.95
  17. So, ummmmm when will these be on the market? : : : : I want one to fly to my favorite fishing hole.. no matter where in the world it is.. ;D ;D ;D ;D
  18. Took the words out of my mouth. However, since one has to win... going with the luck of the Irish.... Hate the Lakers... Kobe is a spoiled brat, who thinks the world needs to bow down and kiss his a$$. Can not wait.. 2 yrs. Then Oden, Roy and company can take them out to the wood shed and give them a whooping.
  19. Bosco, Livingstons are kind of an anomaly. They are probably the most stable boat I have ever been fishing in. However, they are fiberglass, single walled construction, at least the smaller ones I have been in are. Difficult to do mods on. However, I would not hesitate to use one or buy one for fishing out of.
  20. Pros: Shaw Grigsby Hank Parker Where, any place I could get in their boat with them. But specifically, anywhere in Texas or Mexico. Others: My Dad, if he was still alive Anyone from this forum, you are all like family in MHO
  21. Welcome Aboard, and Thank You for your service to this great country.
  22. That thing could say it was made from specially blended grizzly bear pubic hair and I would still use it I like my parabolic rod...not the best rod ever, but worth every penny so far. I want to meet the man that can collect that Specially blended grizzly bear pubic hair..... buy him a drink. :o
  23. tell her until she gets the hook out herself, you get to fish, she has to watch, lmao Oh, and then duck ;D ;D ;D
  24. I do that for new anglers, same way i learned. coffee cans in the back yard, at varying distances up to about 50 yards. Hookless lures, casting and retreiving. I got to where I could hit a coffee can at 50 yds. 9 out of 10 times.
  25. Labs love to chew everything in sight for the first year or two... sooooo if you have Italian leather shoes, or a nice table with wood legs,, or a leather recliner,,,, it will get chewed on.. How about an Australian Blue Heeler. They are very protective, and love to play but are not psycho like some of the terriers. They are also extremely smart... plus they look very cool. http://www.blueheeler.com/
