  9. And to think this person will probably pro-create and add more of his DNA to the gene pool. :o : :
  10. Anyone living in or near Georgia. If you go to the GON website forums and look at the for sale section for fishing. There is a bunch of jon boats for sale on there. Just thought if anyone was looking for a boat, they are there to be had.
  11. Not sure if this one goes to my brother or my parents,, but my brother wrecked his car on the way to work one day (he was 17 at the time). After my dad got him and the car home, he let my brother take their car to to work, he drove that car exactly 4 blocks, passed out from a concussion received during the first wreck and wrecked their car too.... :o :o
  12. Pegleg, Hope you healed up, but that is funny. Reminds me of my dad, one time. We were elk hunting 14 miles in the back country in a horse camp. Ranger had rode by and said there was a big Grizzly in the area. That night the horses go bezerk about 2 in the morning. My dad jumped up and ran out to the horses in nothing but his long johns and a knife. Next thing you here is him hollering and cussing and some small animal squealing and growling. Seems a skunk had wondered into camp.. and my dad just about stepped on it. He had to sleep with the horses for a few days to say the least, and you knew where he was at if he was upwind of ya. ;D ;D ;D
  13. I am going out now to find a train wreck... anything to get that pic out of my mind.... OMG!
  14. I actually met him at an NRA banquet. He was a genuine and friendly as any one of us. May you rest in peace Mr. Heston. May your legacy live on. Thank you for your work in the movies, the civil rights and the NRA. God Bless you and your family.
  15. Welcome and good luck on the tournament fishing.
  16. Welcome back, hope you are feeling better again, soon.
  17. Medium Well for me... no blood, but just a hint of pink in the middle. Just salt, pepper and garlic powder. I learned from my dad, if you need steak sauce the steak aint fit to eat, to begin with.
  18. Great looking boat, can not wait to see pics of fish in the boat.
  19. I love this show. I get to see some home country, and I know some of these places, have hunted in those mountains. I actually have it set as a reminder on my phone that it comes on, so I will not forget. My dad was a timber faller way back when, so it is interesting to watch. Those Choker Setters are crazy though.
  20. I could not agree more. I had a girl come up to me in the Walmart parking lot trying to sell her little Cherriers.. :-? :-?
  21. Frogtog, Thanks I needed a good laugh today.
  22. Welcome!!!!! I think most of us use between 1/2 and 5/8 in. plywood, sealed with something to keep it from rotting. I use 5/8 due to the fact I am a big guy.
  23. Well, I guess I am another one whom you were talking about. However, I apologized to Ronnie at least twice and to Gene, once. I truly felt like I could go, however, going to see my sister at the first of the year, before she passed took more out of our budget, than I thought, or planned for. and to be honest, I thought I had already told Ronnie I was not going. However, since it seems public apologies are needed, then I offer my apology in public to Ronnie and all the planners. I can guarantee it will never happen again with me. I know that it takes a lot of work and effort to plan an event of this size, because I have done something similar, and I would never intentionally cause any grief or hardship on anyone. thnks John
  24. I have used 6 and 8 with good results. Be prepared for sticker shock though.
  25. I carry my Gov't. model .45 in my vehicle where ever I go. Going into downtown Atlanta on occasion, its a real comfort knowing it is there. For carrying on my person, it is a Colt Detective Special.
