fishbear

I want to get a 1 pc. 7 ft. graphite spinning rod with plenty of backbone for worms, senkos, ikas,, etc... when I am fishing weightless. I need to keep it under 100.00. Any ideas??? BPS and Cabelas do not seem to have what I am looking for.

I love the chatterbaits. I have at least one in every color. I can not for the life of me catch a fish on a spinnerbait, but I can sure catch them on a chatterbait. First day I used one, fishing from the bank, I caught 3 fish and had a total of 7 strikes. I seem to have my best luck slow "rolling" them over the top of grass.... but YO YO ing them does work as well.....

I know it works for hunting. The last 4 yrs. we have been looking at the charts for when the elk will most likely be active during the day. We have taken our elk during that time period every year, on whatever day it is. Now, we still hunt all day long, but the elk suddenly materialize during that excellent or good time period of the day.

Good article. I have watched Tred Barta on Versus for over a year now. Is he over the top? YES! Is he borderline kookoo?? Probably....Anyone would have to be to hunt dangerous game with a recurve bow. However, his message is something that everyone should listen to. Whatever you do, do it to the best of your abilities and do not fear failure. Failure means you gave it your best effort, your best shot, and THIS time it may or may not have been good enough, so keep at it, keep practicing, keep trying until you are good enough.... If that message got through to all the young people today, man, imagine what this country would be like in a few years...

There was a young man that collapsed and died this last weekend during his High School football game. Right in front of parents, friends coaches, etc...... :'( :'( :'( I also played against a guy in High School that ended up in a wheel chair with a broken neck during a game. It really hit home for us that knew him, since we all had been ,not good friends but we talked when we saw each other, etc...... and hung out in the same places.

Remember Catt, LBH is getting older now, his eyes are not what they used to be.... we need to be very concious of his impending handicap and not bring to much attention to it..... you know how sensitive he can be.....

whoooaaa buddy your treading on thin ice there No he is right, it was not about hunting, it was about self defense and defending your country against both internal and external threats. However, the government can not regulate the use of said firearms as long as it is a legal use. Hunting is as much a part of our American heritage as apple pie, but, it is not guaranteed in the constitution. The right to bear arms is what is guaranteed. of course i also fight for the right to arm bears.. .but that is another story ;D ;D

Man, you have to look at dating like fishing.... your gonna lose some, and there are always more fish in the water to catch.............. Would you be talking like this because you lost a fish?????????? Dating is a learning curve, just like fishing... It takes awhile before you land that keeper sometimes. So keep casting and trying new lures. It will work out in the end. It always does.
