I use 1/32 - 1/8 oz. depending on how deep I want to fish. Not sure about the Tungsten weights, I still use lead. You could also peg a small bullet weight like on a mojo rig.

I will never forget the fishing show he was on I think with Rowland Martin, this was way back when, and he caught a DD bass, his biggest ever. Of course Rowland insisted it get released, Jerry was having nothing of it, that baby was going on his wall.... Well, Jerry made a mistake and turned his back, and of course the fish went back in the water..... there were more bleeps in that last few minutes than I had heard in a lifetime at that point... Jerry starts chasing Rowland and they end up in the water..... I about died laughing...... ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Since you are using spinning gear, Yo Zuri Hybrid Ultra soft in 6 lb. or Suffix Performance braid 20 lb. both are great with lots of sensitivity and no stretch.

For me the breed of fish does not matter much... size does matter :. But the fun for me in fishing is the fight. I love to hear the drag zing, and the pulse of the pole as that fish tries to shake the hook. Once they are in the boat, you get to brag, and take pictures, but the story you tell will be about the fight it put up. Smallies do that best in my opinion.

A used jon boat is certainly a cheaper way to go for a beginner, heck, I have owned about 6 boats, and I still buy used. Most guys I know when selling a boat, if ASKED. Will take the prospective buyer out in it,, so you can see if there are any leaks, how stable it is, etc....

For those of you that are worried or do not want to lose lures, baits and such, just buy a 19.00 lure saver. Works great. Everything from cranks and spinnerbaits to jigs. Mine has saved me about 100.00 since I bought it.

I was fortunate enough to be given a chance by Rob Faddis to review his product BTS. Thank you. My apology for taking 2 weeks to get this done since receiving your product, but my digital camera went on vacation without me. > That being said, this product is for real. I recently sold my boat, so I had no chance to use it on the boat. That was not a problem, since the directions say fishing equipment, I had some lures, an old tackle box, and my 120 qt. cooler/livewell that looked pretty bad. Before Pictures: I followed the instructions to the letter. First washing everything and rinsing it off. I then applied the BTS formula as instructed using the included sponge that Rob had sent. I waited for the product to dry then buffed it again as directed. To be honest, at first I was a skeptic, but after working with the product I am a believer. The after pics, (in my opinion), do not show how well it actually works. Looking at the items in person, is absolutely unbelievable how well it works. After Pics: On the cooler, if you look, yes I washed the whole top, but only used the BTS on the left side. You can see a big difference. Overall, I give BTS a huge 2 thumbs up. I can only imagine how well it works on boat seats, dashboards, etc....(I would have used it on my car dash, but it had just been armor alled ) Thanks again to Rob. I would definitely use your product and buy it when I see it in the stores. Very easy to use, directions were easy to follow, and it works.

Trust me, if small mouth would be available this deep in the south, I would be fishing for them over LM any day. Pound for pound, smallies fight harder, than any fish I know. I used to chase em when I lived in Wash. state, would go over to the Gorge, and fish the Deschutes. But they were all pretty small.
