Wayne, did you have any issues with the boat not tracking straight?

As soon as the weather breaks around here, I will be extending the front deck of my 16ft Bass Tracker jon boat to make room for the new trolling motor. First question: All the bow mounts that I have operated were on actual "bass boats" with a pointed bow. The motors were mounted at an angle and when deployed, were in the middle of the boat (centerline). Should I try to mount at an angle or will I be forced to lose deck space and mount the motor at a 90 degree from the front? This should be interesting fellas. I will take pics when I start. Wayne

Kent, If you can't beat them join them. Best thing I have found is the Float N Fly. Match the hatch and go to work. This from yesterdays trip. Water temp 42 to 44 and the river is frozen as far into the lake as I have ever seen it. Feels like I live up North or something LOL You dont suppose a Bull Shad would work, do you? Float and Fly? You make THE shad bait and you're recommending the Float and Fly? ;D What is wrong with that picture? Doesnt get much closer to the real thing...

I would be more than happy to throw someone in the lake if I saw them doing this... I have heard of it happening, but never seen it. Why would you purposely pollute the lake you fish? I just don't get it...

Something similar for me today. Two eggs, slice of smoked swiss, Italian bread. Covered in La Anita Chile Habanero sauce (green). It is odd looking with the green sauce, but delicious.
