  1. http://www.tackletour.com/reviewicast08ardent.html Pretty innovative new design. No drag star, preset for 22lb of drag pressure. This thing looks really, really cool and only at a $149 price? If they come out with a lefty, might have to give it a shot....
  2. http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1216397192 Check out the rod prototypes too. Extendable butt sections and a 3X heavy model that can throw a 2lb (yeah, pounds not ounces) bait. Like I said Matt, FREAKIN SWEET
  3. Be there next month for the CAST event. Just let me know if you need it
  4. LOL, for some reason I find that idea rather intriguing.... Not necessarily something I would employ for bass fishing, but for carp and catfish it might just work....
  5. Well, if you are getting rid of any of those Revos, just let me know... BTW, you still need that old trolling motor?
  6. I believe I read that possible release date will be mid-October. I cant wait for these to come out either!!!!
  7. I'm 5' 8", he's about 6'. Meeting Glenn and RW at the Roadtrip made me feel like a giant....LOL
  8. I am originally from that area, Altoona was our neighboring rival in football. Like was said above, anything you see with "reservoir" attached to it will be off limits. I have seen some large fish come out of Mill Run Res though :-X Canoe Creek (and lake) has fish in it, but unless you are night fishing, no boat = no fish typically. You can catch fish, but be there early. Best fishing will be on the back side of the lake, across from the swimming area. Keep going on Route 22 about 1/4 mile past the turnoff from the main entrance. The main road will bear around to the right, but you want to go straight. Follow that side road and you will see the access area I am talking about. Stump field at the upper end is decent, but limited w/o boat. Take some old clothes and shoes and you can wade it. If you go right down the road from Canoe Creek on Route 22 (toward Huntingdon), you will find a portion of the Juniata River known as the Frankstown Branch. There are smallies in there. PM sent w/ phone number. Give me a call when you are up there if you are having trouble finding anything. I will give you some directions.
  9. Do you happen to have any large wakebaits? (Slammer, 3:16 wake) Throw them around your rocky point, hump and docks and hold on...
  10. http://www.tackletour.com/reviewicast2008mattlures.html The Mattlures rods and Hardbaits look freakin AWESOME!!! Seriously, that baby bass wake hardbait is just plain sick!!! Matt, any idea on the price or when they just might be available? Wayne
  11. LOL, set it up!!! BTW, once the garage is cleaned out at the new house and I have some room, I have an idea for some bucktails.... Give me time, I will need a tester LOL
  12. Sean, check your musky thread LOL
  13. LOL, I hear ya tyrius!!!
  14. exactly If you have nothing to hide, whats the big deal?
  15. I have the Tropic Star frames w/ the dark, amber and yellow interchangeable lenses. Anyone know where I cant get more colors of lenses? Looking for a green lense. Wayne
  16. LOL, I will buy a MD fishing license for the sole purpose of fishing for muskies. Anytime you want to let me into your spot, you have my number.
  17. Negative, I have not. That is where some of the issues arise. Zel, just purchased a ML Extreme rod last night and have some of those heads you told me about. Will be combining those w/ the discontinued item you sent me in the hopes of pulling out keepers. The swimbait rod will be there for later
  18. Don't sound so excited SPEED! LOL! You'll gettem this time! 9 chances out of 10, I'm gonna miss this one too. No excuses on the next one!!!! 94 degrees and virtually no shade on MG? At least the wind will surely be a blowin' : LOL
  19. Here man, give this a shot.... http://www.***.com/descpageRDCOKUMA-OGSBBR.html http://www.***.com/descpageRLCSHIMANO-SCCRA.html
  20. I am still looking for "the zone" Hopefully I can mark it as a mental waypoint, but right now it feels like finding a needle in a haystack.....LOL
  21. Just like I said to Long Mike....you left? Welcome back buddy.
  22. Well, if you fish around KY Lake then you will be meeting quite a few of us at the BassResource.com Road Trip next year. Guntersville was a blast, and I am sure this year will be even better!!
  23. Michigan is relatively flat, correct? If so, you should be able to pull it without any problems. Like Fishbear said, take it easy on the start....with gas prices the way they are, your wallet will thank you.
  24. I like the DOA weights that you can crimp on the hook. I was throwing the 6.5" Shadalicious w/ a Mustad 8/0 and 1/4 oz DOA weight on the shaft.
