  1. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Blue Collar Comedy Tour....LOOK OUT!! We could make some serious money with the material in this post. Seriously, Craig. I think you get the point from the masses. We like to fish, we like to joke around and I hope it is crystal clear that we have RESPECT for the others on this forum. Ya get what ya give.... Wayne
  2. Purely a guess here, but I would have to say pattern would be the more dominant. That being said, I am admittedly a "spot" fisherman. Patterns would seem to be more widespread and cover different "spots" Wayne
  3. You seem to use your depth finder rather well, care to show a new (1 year)boater how to graph that type of structure? Watch the big names.....rarely, depending on time of year, will you see them hugged up on the shore. Many, if not most, seem to be fishing offshore structure and will list that as a winning strategy for them. Wayne

HAHA, how bout gators? That sounds like some fun to me!!!
  5. It looks like a great platform to perform some mods on...keep us posted w/ pictures of it. Wayne
  6. What brand of buzzbait is that in the original post? That thing is cool....I NEED ONE or TEN!!! I bang buzzbaits into anything I can see. Hit structure from every conceivable angle to generate strikes from the bass. Cast beyond the structure and retrieve at different rates, typically going with the slowest retrieve you can get away with. Wayne
  7. I just started fishing the C rig last year, set up was 20lb braid w/ 12lb stren as the leader. Seemed to work well, but would like to try fluoro this year. Wayne
  8. Looks to be a possible jig trailer...cut it in half and hold on. C-rig it too, yep, gotta get some!!! Wayne
  9. Thank you for sharing your stories. While I do not speak to my birth father, I have wonderful memories of my step father who stepped right in to be the best male role model I have had. He doesnt fish, hunt or play sports but was always the first one to encourage me to do those things. He didnt know a thing about football, yet he came to EVERY game...high school and college. This story reminded me how important he still is in my life....glad he is still around.
  10. HAHA, reminds me of the old country song by Ronnie McDowell...."Older Women"
  11. Well Glen, that's me, and it is my major flaw! I am very civil when it comes to the GP, as are the pros you mentioned. But, I am very judgmental of writers and authors, because they are to be an expert or at least be working with an expert. They are not to perpetuate falsehoods and myths, and they are to know the subject matter or working with someone who knows the subject matter, to ensure that their prose is 100% accurate. They are not to use words like IMPORTANT, without immeditately following through and explaining why it is important. They do not glaze over a very complex topics, as if their audience are 5-year-olds. I hold writers to a much higher level of subject accuracy than I would you, or anyone else. Then I hold website ownership to the same level, because they control what is and is not presented on their website. You want me to disappear. Say the word, and I will never post here again. It is that easy. Sir, its very simple. It seems like you need to follow the rules and show some respect or find somewhere else to peddle your knowledge. Bottom line...you, as well as the rest of us, know how to act in this place. If you can't be mature enough to do as asked, maybe you should move on then. Like it has been previously posted, the majority of people in here dont know you. If you keep up at this pace, I can't forsee many of them wanting to know you in the future either. I encourage you to step up to the plate, deliver your knowledge in a positive manner and be a productive member of BassResource.com. Thank You Wayne
  12. Try neoprene, not sensitive enough to tie a hook on but it will definitely keep you warm while you are fishing. Waterproof too... Wayne
  13. Off to a bang up start from the looks of it!!!! LOL
  14. Yeah Avid, I definitely think we missed something..... Wayne
  15. Look up some of this kid's pics....Seems to know what he is talking about. Wayne
  16. Thats freakin nuts!!!!
  17. Those are some friggin' huge pike... Wayne
  18. I wouldnt be opposed to trying it, havent as of yet. I think there is a pre-conceived notion that carp are "dirty" because they are considered "trash fish" in the states. Europeans view the carp a little differently as it is a "sport" fish over there... Someone get me some carp!!! Wayne
  19. Looking good...at least someone is catching now!! Wayne
  20. Nice, thanks for sharing. Wayne
  21. HAHAHAAHAHAHA
  22. Well said...I dont know that I would take a side on this one. Both are good at what they do, some are good at both. WE ALL LIKE TO FISH, WE ARE ALL THE BEST. Wayne
  23. Divorced, huh? Looking for a brother-in-law? LOL
  24. After the cast, I will usually give a few cranks of the handle to get the bait to a desired depth. After the bait is where I would like it is when I would start making the bait behave erratically with different jerk/pause intervals. Let the fish tell you what they want. Wayne
  25. My impression of the bait is that it is around number two or three in the mainstream market, below Lucky Craft and maybe the Husky Jerk. Thats the way it sounds to me, but as you know...JMHO. Wayne
