  1. I should have adressed the fact that I was focusing on the Ricer's as in the people who drive them. They buy hondas, toyotas etc etc. Then they put all this trash on their car. Like the huge wing for example...whats the point of putting a freakin huge wing on the trunk of a front wheel drive car? I'll elaborate more later...... Now that, I can understand. All good in BassResource.com land....
  2. I agree with you, KU. I had a little toyota truck that ran forever and never cost me anything but the basics. To late.....I tried. : That 67 is so fine. I would love one of those. What a beast. Hondas........................THE WORST car manufacturer ever they all suck...toyota, huyndai(who cares how you spell it ;D), mitsubishi(again....who cares...), nissan etc. etc. All the Jap cars. I hate them all with a passion. You would have to pay me money to destroy one. Thats how much I hate them. ;D You may want to get a little driving experience under your belt before you make claims like this one. Exactly what are you basing your opinion on?
  3. I am glad to see someone else does this. I use the Yum Dingers, because they dont sink as quickly. HAHA, the first time my partner saw me working a soft stick like that, he thought I was crazy. And, you are right. Those little suckers will stick their heads straight up and out of the water. Wayne
  4. I would let them just the way they are. I will fish a white spinnerbait 90% of the time. I'm kinda goofy though....
  5. AHHH, Hawgin beat me to it!!!! If anyone out there doesn't like their lures, feel free to send them to me for a thorough test session!!!!!!!!!!
  6. I like to use a cheap little swim shad, usually about three inches long. The ones I use are Riverside and I get them at walmart. They work great, add a little extra vibration and bulk up the hook area of the bait. It also lets you work it slower and keep it high in the water column at the same time. Wayne
  7. I know that experimenting with different types of cranks will always yield valuable information, but will having someone demonstrate techniques and catch fish (confidence) help my learning curve along? If so, could you recommend any decent DVD's currently out that demonstrate some specific areas where beginners can be successful with these baits? Also, do you know anyone (members possibly) in the Southern PA area that I could hook up with and learn a little bit of the cranking trade? Thanks, Wayne
  8. Look up Larry Dahlberg and some of his creations, including the Dahlberg Diver. A lot of times these are considered big game flies (musky, pike), but as everyone knows, bass will hit a lot of the same things that these larger fish will. The bigger flies will also give you an advantage in the stained water due to their larger profile. Good luck. Wayne.
  9. I use tubes t-rigged, pegged and unpegged. Very versatile bait, I use them mostly on bedding fish and for smallmouth in the river.
  10. At what time of year do you stop throwing cranks, if any?
  11. I personally dont like bootfoot waders. It is waaaaaaaaay to easy to get a hole where the two are joined, IMHO. Wayne
  12. Pair these http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/pod/standard-pod-wrapped.jsp?_DARGS=/cabelas/en/common/catalog/pod-link.jsp_A&_DAV=MainCatcat20431-cat350005&rid=&indexId=cat350005&navAction=push&masterpathid=&navCount=1&parentType=index&parentId=cat350005&id=0011541 with these http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/product/standard-item.jsp?id=0026722830518a&navCount=3&podId=0026722&parentId=cat20616&masterpathid=&navAction=jump&cmCat=MainCatcat20431-cat20616_TGP&catalogCode=IG&rid=&parentType=index&indexId=cat20616&hasJS=true and you should be good to go for under $200. Hope that helps, Wayne

I get more and more jealous when you mention what RW is loaning to you.... Great fish too!!!
  14. Great looking fish, bizzle. I used to have a little bit o' the chaw problem too. I can honestly say that is something I miss about fishing now.... Wayne
  15. Keep it up...cold months are here, take every opportunity you get!!!
  16. Awesome!!! The yellow jon boat sounds cool too.
  17. Toothy critters are great, right? So much fun. You cant really argue with any fish that will bite right now... Wayne
  18. Great looking fish...I think I would give me girlfriend a single hook bait as well...less I have to dig out of myself ;D
  19. Great looking fish....a little hard water around here, unfortunately.
  20. I cant remember any time fishing below 20 feet or so, and I cant remember ever catching anything over 12 feet deep. The lakes around here just are not that deep to necessitate going to extremes. This is also the first year I have had a boat, so maybe it will change in the future. Wayne.
  21. I hate anything that wont catch me fish....and I only seem to catch fish with my confidence techniques. Therefore, I would say jigs, which I am working on. Crankbaits, which I need to force myself to work on, and any type of finesse fishing. I know these are big fish catchers for a lot of guys, but I haven't given them the time to develop properly. That should all change in a few months.... Wayne
  22. You gotta figure...most of the Cali/Texas/Florida bass are a totally, or as 4bizzle would say toadali, different type of bass than what is found in the rest of the country. Common sense would tell you that these calculators would be based on a "normal" or "common" bass as opposed to the super-giant dimensions of the pigs caught in the special area. I think George Welcome has it right, as usual.... Wayne
  23. My sentiments exactly....L-rod might have some wisdom as to your inquiry.
  24. Its a lure designed by Rob Kilby, it has different angled blades than the BPS tornado spinnerbait. If you go to www.terminatorlures.com, you can watch a video about the bait. I will probably get one just for the sake of trying it, but I like the Terminator T-1's just fine for my spinnerbaiting and the Booyah Buzz for my buzzbaiting....guess we will see if Mr. Monkey has come up with a winner!!
  25. Great vid Russ, I hope you continue to make them for many more thousands of members. Wayne
