  1. My canal has been free of ice since Saturday. Anchor Bay cleared out on Sunday. It looks so good!!!! Falcon
  2. If there is no ice, I'm throwing a lipless crankbait. As stated before, vary your retrieve, and find what works best for the conditions. Good luck. Falcon

Welcome to the best fishing site on the net. You came to the right place to hone your skills. It sounds like you're already on the right track. Falcon
  19. If there's no ice, I'm throwing crankbaits. Both lipped, and lipless. Falcon
  20. I would go with the Power Pole. Living in Dearborn, you probably fish Erie more. I'm not sure of the depth there. I haven't fished Erie since I was a kid. Here on St. Clair I fish 8' and under 80% of the time, so the 8 footer would be nice. I'm still trying to convince my wife that I really "need" the Power Pole. ;D Falcon
  21. Living on St. Clair, I'm blessed, because every time I go out, I have a shot at a monster smallie. My goal this year, as it is every year, is to break the seven pound mark. I've been stuck on 6 lb.-15 oz for seven years. I must admit though, I'm perfectly happy going out and catching the 2-4 pounders. Falcon

  24. My most productive jerkbaits are: 1-Pointer 78 in American Shad, and Chartreuse Shad. 2-X-Rap 08 in Olive Green, Sliver, Sliver Blue, and Hot Pink. 3-XCalibur Xt3 in Pearl Melon. 4-Bomber Long A in Firetiger, and Baby Bass. Falcon
  25. Welcome to the best fishing site on the net. Stick around here, and soon you'll have your bass fishing PHD. Falcon
