My best friend just got a pair of Panoptix. They cost about $140.00 and fit my face better than the fit-overs that I've been using. I have an appointment for an eye exam next week, and like Avid I think my optician sells Maui Jim, so that's probably what I'll be getting. At least I know I won't have to wear those fit-overs anymore. Falcon

I usually start cleaning and lubing my reels after the holidays, but mostly I've been buying alot of tackle. (the bait monkey has been very busy) I just got my BPS catalog yesterday, and like mdangler I've been cover-to-cover more times then I care to admit. I now have another list of got-to-have items. Oh well, maybe the rain will stop and I can go out and try my new pointers in the canal. Happy New Year to all!!! Falcon

I like the Rapala Rattlin Rap in size 07. The color I've had most success with is red crawdad. As far as when and where it's the same as all the above posts. As far as what fish I catch with them, I've caught smallmouth, largemouth, muskie, and walleye. Falcon

Here in Michigan, our license will expire on March 31,07. I know our license fee is going to increase, but i'm not sure how much. The old fee was $15.00 and $15.00 for Trout and Salmon stamp. Falcon

KVD got my vote. Luke Clausen and Ike are great anglers also, but I think Ish Monroe is going to make his presence known. I think we will be hearing his name alot more this season. Ish won two tournaments last season and he seemed pretty focused for the up-coming season. Just my opinion, Falcon

In cold water, i've had more success using a small jerkbait with painfully long pauses. This past spring I had some luck with 4" Senkos. In cold water, I think the key word is SLOW. Falcon

I'd have to say I'm in the sportsman stage. Since the accident and all my surgeries, i'm glad i can still get out for a couple hours per day. (on most days) I must admit though, I still would like to get over the seven pound mark on Smallies. I've been stuck on 6-15# for three years now. Falcon
