Rattlin Rapala, I've had alot of success with them. I have a bunch of Rat-L-Traps, and have had very little success with them. I did pick-up an X-Calibur Xr50, and a couple Strike King Red Eye Shads to try this season. Falcon

Since my accident, I can't fish tournaments anymore. I really miss that aspect of fishing. I fish almost every day, either in the boat or from my seawall. Falcon

I'm waiting for next Wednesday to get here.Then my wife and I are flying to Central Florida for a week. Since I can't fish here, I'm going some place I can. (hoping for a PB largemouth) I'm also waiting for the BPS Spring Classic, so I can get the few remaining things I need for the up-coming season. And probably a few more. Falcon

Did anybody see "Hook 'N' Look" on Versus this morning? It was the most incredible film on fish behavior I've ever seen. First it shows him actually petting some smallmouth. Then he shows the spawning ritual, the female was quivering so violently, he said he could feel it in the water. The last part shows him bed fishing. His son is in the water filming the catch, fight, and return to the nest. If you have the opportunity, I suggest you watch the show, it's well worth it. Falcon

I have two Bronzeye Frogs, and I don't have any problems with either. As far as the solid frogs, I like the Zoom Horny Toads best. I'm looking forward to trying the Rage Toads this season. Falcon

About the only brand I can say I'm loyal to is Abu Garcia. The biggest reason for that is quality and service. Twenty-five years ago I got a 5500 C series reel that I'm still using today, and other than cleaning and lubing regularly, it's never needed service. I own seven other Abu baitcasters and only one has ever needed service. The only time I needed Abu Garcia service was last year. After using my D5 for fourteen months it started binding, I sent the reel to them on Tuesday evening and on Friday UPS delivered a brand new D5 reel, no questions asked. I must admit, there is one more brand that I've become loyal to in the last six months. ***, for the same reasons, quality and service. When I used to fish tournaments, as well as now. When I hit that stretch where I can't even catch a cold, I usually go back to one of the baits that we all have. One that always worked, but for some reason, we don't use it anymore. More times than not, it seems to put a fish in the boat. Falcon

To me they are all equal. Once I'm in my boat, it's all one. As Cajun said,"you can't have one without the other". Falcon
