i have a stradic and love it, my friend had the quantum pti and after using my stradic he went out and bought a stradic and the quantum is collecting dust on the shelf

thats the only as seen on tv lure that i used and actually worked ;D

me i dont like power pro i like p line spectra better but i have tried sufix and its better then both. suffix casts very well and handles great ;D

i like my cabelas one for 20 bucks i think its acurate. i weight a 5 pound weight it was right on the money

to me a 50.00 baitaster isnt going to cut it, especially if someone is new to a baitcasting setup cause its just not going to cast right plus a crapy brake system, im a firm believer u get what u pay for,I think if u spend at least 100.00 min on a baitcaster your ganna save yourself a lot of future problems,now 650 for the dc calais is a little overboard but if i had the money to drop hell yea id buy it, but as for spinning reels if u spend 50 bucks or more u should be fine, ill tell ya my cuz has a sedona (shimano)and what a reel for the money.i have a stradic 4 now that i love but will be buying a twinpower mg 2500 cant wait ;D

i throw the 1/8 oz trap in early spring when the baitfish r small iv caught a lot of 4 to 5 pound bass and thats a nice size for nj ;D

i have a stradic as well i think that reel for the money is the best out there imo.my brother has a diawa theory but i dont think its as nice of a reel but if money is an an isssues id take a good look at the shimano symetre

personally id stick with shimano u cant go wrong imo best reels and most reliable out there
