Eastern Outdoors show (Harrisburg)
I've been going for 20 years now. Man I'm getting old I mainly go to see some old friends I only get to see once a year. Years ago you could get some good deals. Not so much any more. If you've never been there plan on spending the whole day. Its huge! Great place to book a fishing or hunting trip.

Liability Insurance???
$400 sounds reasonable. Getting the club to vote on it will be tough. We had to cut 3 tournaments and come up with alternates. Here's another question...does a club need to be "incorparated" to buy insurance. I know where this may lead...filing taxes???

Liability Insurance???
We are not a affiliated with either. I am having a hard time finding any other clubs that are not. Can anyone tell me if other states do the same.

Liability Insurance???
Here in PA our club has run into a problem. Pa State Parks are requiring that clubs carry liability insurance if you are using Park ramps for tournaments. We are being asked to fill out a "Special Activities Agreement". The Bureau of State parks are assuming NO responsibility for participants or spectators. So is there any other clubs out there that this is effecting?

OK .... I think I am pretty much done with flourocarbon lines!!!!
I have also gone through the different brands of flouro. Trilene 100%, P-line, vanish and others. I have settled on one. Seaguar Invisx. I used this all of last year and loved it. I re-tie much less, because of abrasion. It seems so smooth and stays that way. After trying P-line and then vanish I didnt think anything would impress me enough to keep fishing flouro. Seagaur will be the only line on my baitcasters. I currently have the Carbon Pro spooled up and so far so good.

Uglystik
There are other rods in the same price range that I'd spend my money on. I just got rid of one. Too heavy for me.

New bass club in South Central PA
Cumberland Valley Bass Anglers is now starting into our second season. With our first successful season under our belt, we are looking to expand our membership. We are not affiliated with B.A.S.S. or any other pro circuit. We want to keep things VERY affordable. We have 8 scheduled tournaments for 2009. With the exception of the Potomac River and Raystown, all are local waters. We have 20 members and growing. Monthly meetings in the Carlisle area. If you have any questions please ask here or pm me.

That was a pretty good spot. I think we got 3 out of that one small inlet. I should have landed a few more. Just a little too slow on the trigger :-[
