  1. Im not even sure, it happened a long time ago..maybe 2 years and i set it aside....but I just now cleaned out all my fishing stuff so wanted to see if it could be repaired
  2. The point of the hook and barb broke off of it But the prop and skirt and everything is so nice..shame to just throw it out
  3. On my cavitron buzzbait
  4. Dude., the senko is working because its a great time of the year for it and the action fits the season perfectly (slow fall, tight wiggle etc) Plus whats wrong with having success with only the senko? Part of the reason there are a lot of different baits on the market is because not everyone fishes the same and it allows those fisherman to use their strengths and strong points. You should congratulate yourself for catching these fish on a senko. Its a good presentation that works almost anywhere in the country and you seem to be doing something right.
  5. Yeah im super psyched, YZH is really amazing line. I'm not too sure what their doing over there in Japan but its working tremendously. I cant even tell you how long it takes me to break my line off when I get snagged sometimes, or about how many full trees ive hauled in with 10lb test lol I cant thank roadwarrior enough for putting me onto this line years ago
  6. Ok guys theres a pretty good seller I found on eBay. She sells spools of 600lb camo green yo-zuri hybrid for 5.99. The seller name is college4three and you can choose from 4lb 6lb 8lb 10lb or 12lb when you order.
  7. lol @ the purse
  8. Looking to buy some YZH in bulk but havent really found too many sources for this. I remember basspro would always be selling the 1000yd and 600yd spools for real cheap but it seems they upped the price or something. Where do you buy your YZH?
  9. nice job...its a great attractant
  10. I bought a school book-bag from wal-mart last night for 14$ It has everyhting I need, straps to go around my shoulders for walking and like 4 different zipper compartments for my plano stowaways etc.. Great value and it serves the purpose http://www.walmart.com/ip/Eastsport-Round-17.5-Backpack/20682387
  11. I've caught some good fish with this bait. Its a quality lure
  12. Hate to dissapoint you guys but I went with the KVD quantum combo. Im super excited about using this. The combo is super light in my hands and the reel is really low profile. Rod seems great also and as soon as I get on the water with it ill write some more detailed review.
  13. Seems the Quantum KVD reel is lighter and has more ball bearings than the Pro Qualifier reel....its only lighter by .5 oz but still. Hmmmmmmmmm.....
  14. So ill be most likely buying one of these combos before the season starts and need your help Which combo would you buy based on the quality of reel and rod? My guess is that the KVD one is best because it has 11 ball bearings in the quantum reel. I bought the extreme rod and reel combo some years ago and the rod was a bit heavy, as well as the reel. If youd like to take a look here are the links: http://www.basspro.com/Bass-Pro-Shops-Extreme-Matrix-Baitcast-Combos/product/1202210501011/?cmCat=CROSSSELL_PRODUCT http://www.basspro.com/Bass-Pro-Shops-Pro-Qualifier-Tournament-Rod-and-Reel-Baitcast-Combos/product/1210200646593/?cmCat=CROSSSELL_PRODUCT http://www.basspro.com/Quantum-KVD-Signature-Series-Reel/Accurist-Rod-Baitcast-Combos/product/1211100657003/?cmCat=CROSSSELL_PRODUCT Also one more thing to point out....I did some research on the KVD quantum reel and it said 8.3 for the weight.....Seems kinda heavy no? And it says it holds 15yds of 12lb line...this reel seems like it might be bulky...what do u think? Id appreciate any feedback -wm
  15. Ok so today as I was working, bascially there was 2 guys on top ripping stuff off this roof, and I was the guy down below cleaning the stuff up. As I was going through some trash/debris, I saw this baby bird squirming around. IM guessing that there was a next mixed in with the plywood and insulation somewhere. Let me say this is on tough little guy! He fell almost 13 feet!! I couldnt help myself to just let him die there so I hid him inside this little bush until I was done for the day, went back and he was still there. I decided to take him home and hopefully take care of him until he gets too big. I dont think he will ever be given the chance to fly, since a mother bird acts in ways that we possibly cant imitate. But at least he will maybe have a chance a t a life that wouldve most likely ended this afternoon with the sun beating on him. So I went to wal-mart and got some baby night crawlers, I recently just cut one in a third and he gulped it down nicely. When I go near him he sticks his head up and looks for food because his eyes arent open yet. How many times a day do you think I should feed him? I understand that warm weather makes metabolism pretty fast, so I was thinking maybe 3 or 4? Also, he will obviously need water. So i cleaned out an eyedrop case, and plan on maybe giving him a drop or two when necessary. But how much do you think is enough? Currently I have him in some pop corn bowl, with a little nest i made out of some thin grass with a paper towl under it Any body have any tips? o_O? Hopefully he turns out alright!
  16. Spinnerbaits/RAGE shads..period
  17. Spinnerbait is a great choice, especially if there is a slight ripple, you cant really go wrong
  18. lol Sam, i was thinking the same, dude looks familiar no joke
  19. hey sam how you been? hmm im wondering its hard to slip up the line? do you think theyd work better then smartpegs or peg its?
  20. cool story bro
  21. havent seen this before, anyone?
  22. Ok lets be quite clear in what i was trying to say in the first post, im sure your all good readers right? It was never meant to be a put-down or a negative remark toward the admin or the site itself. I was just expressing my view on the layout. Its funny how a few of people that responded have been members for a shorter ammount of time then me. Dont worry though ill ask glenn send you guys the files in the old layout and you can upload them and browse around it yourself and then tell me which alyout you liked better. When i said "computer savvy" i wasnt trying to say the site was hard to navigate, the navbar and everyhting is well organized, and the drop down menus. I actually didnt mean comptuer savvy, i guess i shoudlve been "forum admin savvy". How many of you actually moderated or admind a forum? @Glenn - Im curious, you said the site costs thousands of dollars a month..Whats taking all of this loot? Im just wondering. Thats a pretty lot of cash to run a forum. @Sfritr - with all due respect, please dont use the word "outsider" you joined in april 09 sir, shouldnt be too excited
  23. OK so i havent been active on this site very much in the past few years. But time to time ill stop by and check the forums out to see whats going on, and I can honestly say, everytime this site gets updated it frustrates me. 2006 bassresource layout > this new one...these ads are pretty ridiculous, and im sorry for all you anglers out there who arent very computer saavy but this site dosent NEED ADDS TO BE FUNCTIONAL, its a bad joke. The domain probably cost about 100-300 dollars a year at minimum, and I have been an admin on multiple forums. It dosent cost money to add text and news posts. Just saying the site used to be a lot nicer and easier to navigate, now it just looks ugly I mean for gods sake, the demensions on the avtar dont even look right.. rant over
  24. LOL I sware if it wasn't or RW YZ wouldve went bankrupt long ago! Thanks again sir
  25. 60 degress in the morning haha I would pray for that mid day!!!! You sir are very lucky It would be like 20 degrees in the morning up here LOL Nice fish btw GJ!
