BB1 is heavier, and 1 less bearing, but has a deeper spool. Both have ACB braking system. Not much difference. You can find them both for about the same price much lower on different sites.

I'm not saying that you do this, but I've watched people do the Bass Master massive hookset on every fish, to me this is not necessary.

Like others have said, there isn't a magic braid. I use PowerPro and it works good for me. It basically comes down to, what works best for your situation.

I'm looking at two different reels. The first one is a Shimano Exsence DC and the other is the Metanium DC. The Exsence is a 2013 model and the Metanium 2015. What makes the Metanium worht over 120.00 more? Both have DC and the same amount of bearings. Is there anything else? I think the Metanium holds a little more line.

Lew's Team Gold and Powell Endurance 7'1" Fast with PowerPro Braid

I have relatively new Fluorocarbon on my reel. But after fishing some murky water yesterday, it's dull and brownish. Is it ruined in the sense of clarity?

Mono is the easiest to get untangled compared to braid. If you backlash braid it will knot up and break.

I recently bought a Lew's TLM1SHL. Online it claims to have a 11 bearing system. But when I look at the schematics, I can only find 10. What am I over looking? I attached the schematic for the reel. TLM1SHL.pdf
