In the delta, you can use live bait, you fish it where you catch it, as long as you don't transfer them to another area. Sunfish, Perch, Crappie can all be used as live bait. I called Fish and Game here in Stockton, and they confirmed this.

@NorthernBasser That's the only bad thing about those dark sleepers, the eyes fall off constantly. Caught two today.

Some say that Flouro is more sensitive for bottom contact. IDK if you'd lose any sensitivity by going with braid to flouro leader..

Yeah, I took line out to the knot, wrapped the line around some wrenches, for grip, pulled and it snapped at the knot. I'll just replace the line.

No, wasn't a wind knot. I pulled this and it just got tighter.

I have 30lb PP on my reel and half way into the spool, there is one knot. Not sure how it got there, maybe a backlash. But it's too tight to untie. Will this compromise my line? Every time I cast, the knot goes through the guides.
