  1. Thanks everyone. I was just wondering. I'm not saying everyone, but I've seen videos of people being careless with this. I'm not one of those, "save the earth" type of people, but I don't want to be a contributor to the problem either...
  2. Just like the title says. I see a lot of videos of guys, tearing off the top of trailers and tossing the partial piece into the lake, bass biting worms in half and getting away, things like that. And I just wonder if today's plastic baits are biodegradable? You see guys with 10 or 20 more packages of plastics in their boat.
  3. Like everyone has said, get the proper tool, it's well worth it in the long run.
  4. There is also the Shimano Calcutta Conquest BFS.
  5. Thanks everyone.
  6. Which scent do you use? I might give this one a try.
  7. Just wondering if any of you use fish attractant and if so, which one? I've always used Yum, but started using fishsticks, in shad and craw.
  8. 9lb on a superspook. Small river behind my house in Arkansas.
  9. I'm more of a power fisherman. I love my chatterbaits, spinnerbaits, crankbaits, buzzbaits, and others. But this year I'm forcing myself to use more worms and jigs, ned rigs. And I'm getting into swimbaits also. But I hate drop shotting. It's about the only thing I don't like doing.
  10. What about those line counters that mount to your rod?
  11. depending on the brand, #10 - #12.
  12. Actually, i do have the 19' Antares and it's very forgiving. I rarely have any backlashes at all. And that's with only 1 brake on.
  13. Sadly, a lot of people can't think long term. I strictly am catch n release, almost everything, except for trout. I've seen people filling up 5gal buckets with 5" catfish and such.
  14. Oh ok. I never caught one before. I wasn't sure if it was a spot or small mouth. Next time I catch one, I'll check for the teeth on the tongue.
  15. Caught 1 at day break. I'm not sure what type of bass this is. This is on the Sacramento river in Isleton.
  16. Like most have said, i wouldn't go below 30lb.
  17. I had an old steez painted at Bass Fishing Addictions. They did a good job.
  18. My SV103 is the easiest to work on that I have. My 19' Antares was a doozy, but I was able to figure it out.
  19. The only reason I said M is because I have that same rod. I don't have a ML. Maybe a ML might be better.
  20. If you can't swing the Expride, the Zodias 7'M is a great rod also.
  21. I caught a couple of these when I lived in Clarksville. The river behind my house there.
