If you're well outfitted/prepared and get the right boat, fishing from a kayak is not limiting at all. Easy to get on the water, cheap, stealthy...lots of pros. I'm 6'2" and fish from a 16' Old Town Dirigo (sit in). X2 to whoever said that you get what you pay for so if you're serious about using it regularly I would shy away from those two that you're looking at from Dick's. Almost forgot A League of Their Own. Yeah, it was a chick flick and Rosie O'Donnell was in it (reason enough to hate it if you ask me) but it was a d**n funny movie.

;D My daughter is a Girl Scout and my wife is the troop leader. Last Saturday we loaded 133 cases of cookies into the back of our van and doled them out to the rest of the troop. I bought 5 extra cases (60 boxes) of Samoas, Tagalongs and Thin Mints to sell to the junkies at work. They went like hotcakes. And yeah, there were a few milfs at the pickup location.

Hurtin' bad man...need a fix. It's still snowing as I write this, we've gotten about 6-8" since this morning. Good thing I ski too or I'd be crawling the walls!

Nothing but hard water here dude. A few hundred yards of the Souhegan has opened and closed several times but it's been too cold out to want to do anything with it. Gonna pick up my license sometime next week so come ice out I'm ready to roll. Good luck!

Catch lots of fish.

I always ask for the hot sauce they give you with the chili and squeeze a pack on the spicy chicken sandwich. Nice kick and it doesn't turn my stomach like the greasy burgers do. Man, I used to be able to down a Big Mac or a couple Mc D's double cheeseburgers with no problem. Now they kill me even if wash them down with a Pepcid.

This thing is far from over.... They're going to tear the house down. It may take all of the off season but I am going to take a guess that the New England Patriots are done as we know it. I've said it before "They didn't need to cheat. They're just that good of a team and also very well coached. It would have made no difference." You're right, they were just that good. Whether or not they taped anything had nothing to do with how they took on all comers and shut them down in all but one game. I'm not a huge football fan but to see a team that played that well for as long as they did not consumate their perfect season was sad.

The gardening glove with a textured palm works great but I'll probably be picking up a lip gripper because a place I fished a few times last year had some that were a little too big around to get a good grip on. The croaking sound (sounds more like a heavy breath being let out to me) is kinda freaky. Nasty fish, glad I'm not swimming around with them.

I said the same thing to myself last year and bought a handful of 1/4oz Bitsy Bugs (less than $2 each at Wal Mart). They caught me enough fish, including my PB, that they're now my go to bait.

I gotta agree with the jig & baby brush hog. 1/4oz green/red.

Yeah, I'm with you there man. Everything since then has been a load...pun intended. ...And Justice for All was a great concert and an awesome album. I saw them in Hartford and have never seen so many girls in lingerie who should NOT have been in lingerie in my life but what the hell, it was still a great show...once Alice in Chains got the hell off stage... :-/ Oh yeah, and the ticking and moaning about the whole Napster/free download thing really drove home the fact that they had sold out. Even more than the Stones doing a Cadillac commercial or Dennis Hopper hawking financial advisor services. What's happened to the world we once knew?

Wow, those are some great catches for a bunch of northerners. My best LM went 4lb 9oz and my best smallie was about 2.5lb on a cheapo spring scale. Hoping to lay into some of the more respectable fishies that obviously DO populate our waters.
