  1. No but I sure would like to! That I can relate to!
  2. Holy Sasquatch sightings Batman!
  3. Hope your recovery is quick. We switched to Dish a couple years ago after years of frustration with cable. When I called them to cancel they told me how unreliable and overpriced satellite was blah, blah, blah and I basically told them to go screw. In more than two years we've lost the signal for maybe a total of an hour. We've lost service more times for power outages than because of their equipment. We've got two DVR's (greatest invention ever) get 200 channels and pay LESS than we would be paying a cable company for one DVR and less than half the number of channels.
  4. Dude, if you've genuinely responded to posts or started threads in good faith then don't worry about anyone else. Starting over for the reason you cited is just another way of trying to prove something.
  5. Jig w/ Flappin Hog trailer. Used to be a senko but last year I made the jig mine.
  6. Nice job if you ask me. Great pics of some nice fish and a cool tune. Looks like some nice spots you're fishing too. Whereabouts in MA?
  7. Yeah, you definitely suck but I dig the James Hetfield thing you got going on. ;D J/K dude. You friggin' rock and I would never pee on your valued rug...or your fish. Those are beasts!
  8. They both dominate in their respective fields.
  9. You ain't lying! I love New England year round but once March hits I'm ready for the white stuff to go the heck away. Skiing gets me through the winter months then fishing, golfing and my motorcycle carry me through late fall. Since my warmer weather activities started outnumbering cold weather fun I've thought about a move south but I know it'll never happen...at least not until arthritis sets in.
  10. Nah, it's just your everyday, run of the mill, scare tactic ad. I think it's all the steroids the Hulkster has taken that are slowing things down.
  11. ;D Just got back. Good guy and the rack is in great shape. I got an awesome deal even for just the base parts but he let me have the fairing which along with rest of it is worth more than twice what he was asking. I'm a Craig's List true believer now. Now i can get the boat to the water. Too bad it's all still frozen. :-/
  12. I don't think there are more than 3 or 4 playing today who could compete with the likes of them. There are a few, who in any given tournament, give Tiger a run for his money through 54 holes but come Sunday they either fall apart or he gets in the zone and is so good that no else's 'A' game is good enough. When you're in the final group with Tiger you've got to hope for two things: he screws up and you don't because there's no way you're gonna outplay him when he's on which is most of the time. Other than Jordan, Tyson and Ali I don't think anyone has ever dominated the competition like he does.
  13. I've had a lot of luck finding deals on ebay over the years and I've also done well with a couple sales but this recent experience was frustrating. Update: I found the exact rack I was looking for on Craig's List. I'm meeting the seller today so here's hoping he's not a nut job who'll knock me out and run me through the wood chipper.
  14. X2...for NH waters anyway.
  15. The guy is phenomonal at what he does. Whether or not he's as athletic as other pro sports players is debatable but he's doesn't look like a couch potato to me. Hitting a golf ball off a tee certainly doesn't require as much skill as hitting a 90mph ball that could break at any second but hitting that tiny ball 200+ yards with a crooked stick to within 6 feet of a 4.25 inch diameter hole is not easy...trust me! And if you want to see how athletic pro golfers are compared to other athletes watch some of the invitationals or pro-ams where ball players who are twice as muscular as even the most fit player on tour can't drive a ball more than 250 yards while even has been's go 300+.
  16. I've been hunting on ebay for a deal on a base roof rack to carry my kayak on my new car and over the past week have seen three sell for more than they would cost retail. One was used and with shipping sold for ten bucks more than it would have cost brand new! What are people thinking? Has anyone else seen this happen? :-?
  17. I sent you a PM with a link you may want to check out. Good luck.

  19. Yeah, I would imagine that putting a trolling motor on a SIK would be a fairly involved mod. I'm sure it could be done but a SOT would definitely be easier to outfit that way. Let us know how you like the NuCanoe Popeye. I've heard that a lot of makers state that you can stand in their boats but I've never seen one that looks like it can live up to the claim. The NuCanoe looks like one that might have the stability to allow it.
  20. SOT's are definitely the rage for fishing applications but one huge advantage a SIK has is tracking and if you want to cover any distance without wearing yourself out there's a case to be made for it. It really depends on where you'll be using it: large water vs. small lakes and ponds and how well you plan to outfit your yak. My SIK is pretty sparingly modified but I have everything I need and I can cross a good sized lake a lot faster and with a lot less huffing and puffing (especially in any kind of breeze) than a friend of mine who has a SOT. To each his own. Just my .02 With that said, if I had the loot I'd add one of these to my arsenal:http://www.hobiecat.com/kayaking/models_outback.html There's a loaded one at a local dealer with fish finder, anchor, 3 rod holders and it's sweet.
  21. Since I never fish with access to a live well I guess I have to hope I never catch a record in NH. Even during season I don't know if I'd have the heart to let a fish like that die in the bottom of my kayak so I could get it certified. http://www.wildlife.state.nh.us/Fishing/Fishing_PDFs/trophy_and_record_fish_app.pdf
  22. Good color choices for the spots I frequent. Have fun and good luck with 'em!
  23. Bars that high are illegal in many states. My bike has standard bars so I don't need to worry about what it is here in NH but that's ridiculous!
  24. I have a tie between a reuben and a patty melt (the 'real' kind)...........but "Reuben" makes me think of Pee Wee Herman, so I'll got with the Patty Melt as my final answer. b Ugh. Just got a mental image of my favorite sandwich wearing a raincoat and getting kicked out of a shady movie theater. ;D
