I still remember this like it happened yesterday. More than 20 years ago I was sleeping and I woke up to what looked like a light shining through my window. I slowly pulled the blind back and there was nothing there. I kept watch for what seemed like several minutes but was probably 15-30 seconds and a light like a flashlight was shown up into my face. I couldn't see anything because of the bright light and I released the blind. After a liitke recovery from what had happened I pulled the blind back again and nothing ever reappeared. We went out and checked around the house and there wasn't anyone around. I still ask myself today was anyone really there? Had I thought I woke up but it was really a dream? Still creepy to think there might have been someone outside my house in the middle of the night.

Looking for ideas for this next year for a kayak trailer. We have used roof mounts the last couple of years but we now have 3 kayaks we take with us. Show some pictures and if it was a custom build or store bought.

I was waiting to see how long it would take for someone to say it.

Squirrel hunting I enjoy because it is like a hike and if I see something I can shoot it.

Being that this was my first year fishing I have a lot to learn. I started to learn about developing a pattern. But sometimes getting that first bite was a struggle. So learning their location based time of year, water temp, weather etc... This become more important as I start to fish larger waters.

I recently got a Lews Tournament MB LFS and I absolutely love it. I paired it with a *** *** Black 7'1" medium fast action. Total package came it at $240.

I started this year. I have really tried to be a student of the sport and it has definitely paid off.

You know if we all took a little time, almost all of us have a lot to be happy about. Sure we have rough patches but we learn from those. Most of how happy in life we are comes is determined in our mind.

I have always said I have a body built for warm weather. Definitely not a fan of the cold.

This are great trucks in my opinion. Really wish could get one with a Cummins.

Anyone read Chad Hoovers Kayak fishing book? Worth the read?

I use both depending on what the conditions are dictating. I will usually start with power and if they are biting then I will slow it down.

I have flown hundreds of times and it funny to think that I had never been on a plane until 2002 and traveled for 14 years. Most of it has been for work. The most expensive flight I ever had was for work. Do to company policy I was able to fly Business Class to Australia and it was $14,000. I've been all over North America, England, Austria, Singapore, Indonesia, Australia, Jamaica and Puerto Rico.

Just caught yesterday here in Indiana. 4.77lbs

Caught my PB just shy of 5 lbs, yesterday after work on a white chatterbait swimming it down the edge of a channel where it dropped from 2 ft to 4ft out of my kayak. Water temp was 60 degrees. Closing in on the end of my first year fishing and a great start to a weeks vacation.

Are you totally focused on Bass and have no interest with any other species or do you spend some of you days fishing focused on other species? And why?

Got out late yesterday afternoon before the rain. The bass were biting but they had to dead stick a worm. Every fish that took it I couldn't feel it take the bait nor did it try to move until I would feel some resistance when I went to move it and set the hook.

I had success with white and albino flukes most of the year. This last time out I tried the albino paddle tail zoom super fluke and the bass were eating it up. I was swimming it on the edge of grass mats above the hydrilla.
