Can't watch the video right now but I'll comment anyways. I don't keep a log. For me, I'm gonna go fishing anyways even if, according to my log, it shouldn't be a good fishing day. Also, I hear pretty often "don't fish history, fish the conditions." So it's a no from me! However, my dad keeps track of how many fish he catches per year and how many in the 5lb range, 6lbs, etc. for reference. Yeah it was tough to bite the bullet but I did it anyways, partially because it was a limited run (mine is #34/100). Like I said it's the most expensive bait I've ever bought by a long shot, I know it will catch fish though. Not that my less expensive baits won't but you get my point

My new Mattlures bait, I think this is my new most prized lure. It's the most I've ever paid for one that's for sure... But would you just look at this piece of art. Can't wait to fish this thing.

I don't see the need for anything over 8' MAX. Mine's a 7'9" and it's plenty long, but it's super high end so it's not real heavy. I don't think you're gonna find a super long, heavy action rod that's not gonna weigh a ton unless it's high end and not telescopic

Last I heard was they'll be released in September

Slow down there, it's kinda hard to understand most of what you just said without reading it a few times.

I recently sold almost all of my craws and simplified. I now have Rage Tail Craws, Rodents, and Biffle Bugs, in just a few colors. Rage Rail Craw is the go to, the rodent for a slightly smaller profile, biffle bug for slightly larger profile.

I think flutter spoons and casting spoons are different things

They aren't going to work any differently than plastics that are readily available, if that makes you feel better

My dad made this mistake last year He trolled for an hour and a half back to the camp, and he texted me about the issue. I asked if the kill switch was in and a few minutes later he texted back, "Are you kidding me!!!" LOL

I have daiwas, shimanos, and lews. None of them stand out to me as way better than the rest, they all seem good for the price range

I've thrown smaller 5 arm A-rigs on mine before outstanding reel, just because it was designed for finesse doesn't mean it's not tough and versatile

that's probably a small crankbait rod with the moderate rating. I'd throw small lipless and cranks that dive 6ft or less
